After that night Jaxon came to my house after a run-in with his dad, he spent more time at my house. Every time he left to go home I worried if I would see him in one piece. Sometimes he would return fine, then others not so fine. I couldn't take it anymore and talk to Nana and Papi. I couldn't stand by why a guy I was falling for was enduring this treatment at home.
After much convincing, they relented and allowed him to stay with us until after we graduated. At least until then, he was safe and I didn't worry so much.
Jaxon crashed in one of the spare rooms and I brought him a blanket and a couple of pillows. He sat down on the side of the bed as I set the items on the dresser. He sighed and I walked over taking a seat next to him, "What's wrong?"
He ran his hand through his hair, "When I asked you to be my girlfriend I didn't realize I would be dragging you into the mess I call my life."
"Well, considering I smacked you with my textbook when we first met, I would say we're even," I said batting my eyelashes making him chuckle.
"I'm in love with a nut," he mumbled.
I stopped, "What?"
"Nothing," he shook his head, still chuckling.
I turned to him, "Did you just say you were in love with me?!"
His head snapped up, "What?! No! You're crazy!"
He stood up and started pacing as I slowly stood up. I stood there as he paced and each time he tried to say something, he stopped himself. I slowly walked towards him as he rubbed his hands through his blond hair in frustration, groaning.
He stood there and moved his hand to his mouth, playing with his lips as I made my way to him, stopping in front of him. I put my hands behind my back and interlocked my fingers and leaned forward, looking at him.
"Admit it. You said you're in love with me," I said casually to him.
He looked at me then threw his arms up in the air and in an exasperated tone said, "All right! Fine, I'm in love with you! Are you happy now?!"
Then he turned his back to me as I said, "Well, at least I didn't say it first."
He stopped and whipped around, "What?"
I looked at him and took his hands, "I hate to admit it, but unfortunately Jaxon I fell in love with you even when I tried to deny it," I shrugged.
He grinned like the goofy fool he was and before I knew it, he smashed his lips onto mine. The kiss was intense and passionate and my breathing hitched. I returned his kiss with an equal amount of passion and intensity. We finally pulled away breathlessly and stared into each other's eyes and all I could think about was lord what did I get myself into?

After our major admittance of how we felt, I couldn't help but wonder how crazy things were going to get. I mean with Jaxon's past with women, it was hard not to think about that, since I've never had a boyfriend let alone fell in love with someone. With him it was different and I couldn't even explain it. I don't think I really want to.We hadn't seen Gio since the day of the fight, while I've seen Drew around keeping an eye on things. Liam was still an ass as usual, but Talia was starting to warm to him while Bree got closer to Jacob.
The weather was starting to get cooler and the leaves were changing to bright vibrant colors to signal fall was in full swing. I was still getting used to the weather change and wearing hoodies, but according to Jaxon, it was the perfect cuddle weather. Personally, I think it was an excuse to feel me up, just my opinion.
We were hanging out in the living room with the others when Jaxon's phone went off. He pulled it out and I looked at him, "Whose that?"
"My dad," he grumbled.
"I thought you told him you were leaving," I asked him.
"I did, but he just doesn't get it. I'll be back," he said going up to his room. I figure he didn't want to disturb us with another screaming match with daddy dearest.
A few minutes later, he returned and took a seat on the couch behind me, pulling him into his chest, "Now where were we?"
"Everything okay," I asked him.
"What," he asked then added, "yeah. I told him I would get off my stuff later. Don't worry."
I shrugged and laid my the back on my chest as we finished the movie.

UnknownAsh walked into the headquarters towards Manny who was sifting through surveillance photos. He looked up at Ash, "Are we good?"
"For now," Ash said.
"Did you get in contact with him," Manny asked Ash.
"Yeah, but it's not going to be easy with him, going deeper undercover. Do you think this was a good idea, Manny?"
"At this point, what choice do we have," he asked Ash.
"Let's hope this doesn't blow up in our faces," Ash warned him.
"If it does, I'll take the heat," Manny said as Ash nodded.
Manny knew the consequences of any case and it would be something he would deal with after the outcome. Even if he was hated for it.

The others left and we sat there on the couch with me lying on his chest. Nana was up in her room, reading."You know the Fall Festive Dance is coming up," he said casually.
I turned to look at him, "Are you asking me to the school dance, Mr. Bentley?"
"Well, that's if you want to go," he shrugged.
"Oh, I suppose, since I have nothing better going on that night," I smirked and he rolled his eyes as he started tickling me. Then he pulled me into a kiss. His lips were so soft and full and I could lose myself in them.
Guess I'm going to the dance with Jaxon. What could possibly go wrong?
