Two years later

In the midst of chaos, maybe I should bring everyone up to speed with what happened. I did graduate from high school via online courses while I was pregnant. It made more sense.

After Maria came, trying to wrestle her from Nana was nearly impossible. This is what happens when you give nana babies. You never see them again.

I did decide to take college courses, but in the end, I decided I would rather raise our daughter, which was fine by Jaxon. He did get promoted and worked more on headquarters overseeing assignments. He felt it was better. He wanted to see his daughter grow up.

We settled into being a nice little family and that was fine by me. Never in a million years the boy I smacked with a textbook would turn out to be the exact person to be the one to protect me from a killer. I never expected to fall in love with him, but I was so happy that I did.

I felt someone leaned next to my ear and whisper, "Mrs. Bennett?"

I turned to him, "Yes Mr. Bennett?"

"Would you like to dance?"

"I would love to dance," I smiled.

He took my hand and lead me out onto the dance floor and we started dancing as everyone looked on. He held me close and we danced slowly. The moment was perfect. Well, that was until we got interrupted by someone.

We stopped and Maria tugged at his pant leg, "Up." He let go of me as he picked her up and held her in one arm while he wrapped his arm around me. Then he danced with both of us.

"Should I be jealous?" I said coyly.

"Nah, because I get to dance with my favorite two girls at my wedding," he grinned as I giggled.

He leaned down and gave me a kiss and then gave our daughter a kiss.

"Thank you, Sasha," he said to me.

"For what?" I asked.

"For giving me a chance and a family, I love you both so much."

"Well, then I guess this would be a bad time to tell you there's going to be a new addition to our family," I said to him with a look.

He gave me a look and looked down, "Really?"

I nodded.

He pulled me tightly to him and crashed his lips onto mine as he held Maria. Yep, our family would be growing which meant nana was getting more babies.

We weren't the only ones who were having families. Talia and Bree went into the witness protection program and got to be with Liam and Jacob because of it. Both of them got married and are both expecting little ones.

As for Jaxon and I, things might have turned out tense between us at first, but when you fall in love with someone unexpectedly, you end up with more than expected.

I came to Michigan with the sole purpose of my dad taking down a cartel. While he not only took down a cartel, he also took down an arms dealer and a Mafioso. Because of it, they promoted him to lead.

Never in a million years would I had ever expected to fall in love with an agent, but I don't regret it. Not one bit.

Everything works out for a reason and our story worked out perfectly for us. They got the bad guys and I got a good one. Balance. It's all about balance.

I finally got my happy ending and lots of love from family and friends. I couldn't have asked for a better ending.
