After The Storm (chapter 20)

Chapter 20

Anna's POV

I froze from the words he just said... how? how is there still ice in my heart?

He interrupted me in the middle of my thoughts, and started talking.

"Anna, how did you get fire magic?" the troll asked.

"I don't... know." I simply say.

"When did you find out you got it?" He asked.

"I just found out today," I said. " I also have been having really bad pains in my chest..." I say looking down.

"That's because the fire and ice are mixing together...." his voice trailed off.

"Is that a bad thing?" I asked.

"It can be one why or the other, if you don't unfreeze your heart, then it's a bad thing, because the ice will take over the fire, but if you do unfreeze your heart, it won't be a bad thing, because the fire will take over your heart with love." he said.

I look up at him, because I have one more question.

"How did I get fire magic?" I ask and he looks up at me and smiles.

"Well, you have fire magic because you have so much love deep in your heart, ever since your sister learned to control her magic, she was the one to put so much love in you, that you have fire magic now, your a loving person, and the fire inside you makes you shine. When you think about love, the fire ignites inside you, and sometimes, it may accidentally burst out if you don't learn to control it." he said.

"Why does Elsa have ice magic then?" I asked.

"Well, she was born with it first if all, but she isn't as loving and open to other people as you are. She likes to be alone a lot, and she can get depressed at times, because her childhood was just sitting all alone in a room, and that's why she has ice powers, it's not a bad thing at all, neither is fire, but the bad thing is when you don't know how to control it." the troll said.

I smile and thank him. As I begin to walk away, he starts to talk again.

"Don't forget about the frozen heart, you have 18 days to thaw it, with true love." he said.

Ok, 18 days, this shouldn't be too hard, I just need to find someone who loves me. I turn back to him.

"What about Elsa?" I asked him.

He shakes his head. "No one can thaw a frozen heart twice, that is the hard thing." he stated.

I nod and turn around, waving goodbye to the trolls. I walk up a couple hills, and across the creek. soon, I get close enough that I can see Arendelle. I take a deep breath before I get on the row boat, and go across the lake. It is evening, so I probably missed dinner, and there probably won't be many people out, since it is late. once I get to the other side, I look at my hands, and realize the symbol was a flame. I shrug and skip through the kingdom, and to the castle, I avoid almost everyone I see, thank goodness. once I get to the castle I go in and shut the doors right away. I quickly run upstairs, down the hallway, and into my room as quick as I could.

When I get in my room, I slide down the door, because of such a long day. I'm so tired.

It's only seconds after, I notice Elsa is sitting near the window, crying....
