After The Storm (chapter 44)

Chapter 44

Elsa's POV

I wish people would just understand. understand the pain that I suffer.

I feel bad for running from Anna, but I feel like it was the right thing to do.

I continue to run, nowhere, when I stop to catch my breath. I start to loose my balance, so I grab on with my right hand, to a tree branch, from the tree I'm standing next to.

Suddenly, The branch turns to solid ice, and I take my hand away from it.

I look at my hand, and then back at the tree.

What is happening to me!?

I though I could control it! now I can't anymore.

I look all around me, and realize that this winter was caused by me, running over the fjord.

Why does this always happen. Then everyone gets mad at me! It's not my fault!

I start to run more, and then I realize that I have no clue to where I'm going.

Then it hits me. My castle!

I look around, and try to find the North Mountain. Then I realize, the building was near the North Mountain.

I can't go back there, one, I will see Anna and Kristoff, and two, the people at the building will probably catch me.

I let out a huge sigh I didn't realize I was holding in. I'm gonna have to find another way to the castle.

I look to the left of me, and there is a hill, so I decide to climb it. I guess I can take this way, the castle is in this direction, right...?

I decide to go with yes because I don't want to think right now.

Once I get up the hill, and stand up all the way, and walk around.

I look down, and I see the figures of two people. I duck down, and get closer to the edge of the hill. Once I'm closer, I can finally see who it is.

Anna and Kristoff.

I look more closely, and Anna is sobbing, and Kristoff is trying to help her up from the snow.

It breaks my heart to see Anna like this, but I don't want to hurt her anymore, I want her to be safe.

I continue to walk over the hill, and find my way to the castle.

This is going to be a long walk. I jump over creeks, that are frozen. Walk over more hills, that are very very snowy. And walk through forests, that are really dark.

After walking through a bunch of nature, I finally find my way to the castle. I look up and it is still there, standing with a beautiful glow.

I walk up the stairs, and I realize that there is a part missing. I take my hand, and aim it towards the missing part, and suddenly, ice shoots out of my hand, and repairs the missing part.

I guess I will have to do a lot of repairing while I'm here.

I continue to walk up the stairs, when I finally reach the two doors. They have a snowflake splitting the two doors, so the snowflake is centered.

I knock on the doors, and they open right away.

I step inside, and it is still as stunning as it was a year ago.

Finally, I'm free again.
