After The Storm (chapter 56)

Chapter 56

Anna's POV

As the light begins to burn, I realize that the fire is from... me

I have fire powers.

I can't believe I forgot about that! I could've unfroze my heart a long time ago! but now the light is burning down. it's too late and Elsa is probably torn...

And Kristoff....

'I'm sorry' I think to myself, as if saying it to everyone I love.

But then the light comes back. And it begins to burn brighter and brighter.

Could I be... saving myself?

That's impossible, only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart.

The light keeps getting brighter and brighter, and I start to have hope again.

Maybe I can save myself! I knew I couldn't be dead, not after Elsa and I were just getting started to get to know each other!

'Come on Anna you can do this, don't give up now' I think to myself.

Then suddenly.... everything goes white.

I open my eyes, and I'm in the ground if Elsa's ice castle. but no one is in the room.

I start to panic, when I hear Footsteps going down the stairs....

Elsa's POV

As I walk down the stairs, I start to tear up again, knowing that I just gave my hopes up on Anna...

Once I get to the bottom of the stairs, I don't realize I'm crying until I feel a tear slide down my cheek. I quickly wipe it away, so no one else sees me cry. But I can't stop. they keep coming. and I let out a little sob.

"Elsa, get over it! she's gone!" I cry out to myself. I suddenly fall to the ground on my knees, and cry.

I don't want to leave here. and I can't. not without Anna.

"Anna please come back!" I yell and bring my head to the ground. My tears start to fall on the ground, and I don't bother to wipe them away.

Suddenly I hear a voice come from a distance.

"...Elsa, a-are you o-ok?" I hear from behind me.

I gasp and turn my head.

"Anna?!" I yell, and a huge smile comes across my face.

I look up at her, and she grins, while nodding her head eagerly.

"It's me." she says, and I run up the stairs. Once I get to the top, I look at her with tears in my eyes, and embrace her in a warm hug.

"I thought you were gone...forever." I say into her ear. Then something else pops into my mind. "How did you unfreeze yourself?" I ask, breaking the hug.

She raises an eyebrow at me and holds out her hand, when a little flame appears.

I gasp. I can't believe I forgot about that.

She just laughs and puts her hand back down.

"Anna, I'm so sorry this happened too you... I di....."

"Elsa, it's ok, it's not you fault." she says cutting me off.

I smile at her and she smiles back. Then I realize... I never really did get to apologize to her.

"I'm so sorry." I say, looking down.

She doesn't answer for a minute, probably because she is thinking about what happened the last time we saw each other. Then she says in a whisper voice.

"I'm sorry too..."

"It's ok, I was just confused." I say.

"No, really, I pushed you too far and I know you don't like that. so I'm sorry." she declares.

I pause and think about what she just said, then I start to talk.

"The thing I don't like is the thought of you being gone..." I say, and she smiles.

"Cause life's too short to miss out on a sister like you." I finish, and hug her once more.

Once we pull away from the hug, she begins to talk.

"We should probably get going, is Kristoff here?" she asks.

"Yeah, he is outside checking on Sven." he has been out there for a long time...

We walk down the stairs, and too the doors. We push them open, and see Kristoff and Olaf at the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the doors.

Where's Sven?

(((End of chapter 56! OMG I try to write long chapters but it just doesn't work out😂 sorry that I haven't updated in a long time too I've been really busy with dance and school uggghhhhhhh😑
