After The Storm (chapter 46)

Chapter 46

Elsa's POV

As I walk in my castle, it still looks as beautiful as it was a year ago, or the last time I saw it with Anna.

Thinking about Anna, breaks my heart....

I shake the thought from my head, and continue to walk towards the stairs. I walk up the steps, quickly running up each one.

Once I get to the top, I look around the first floor. Now I need to go to the second floor.

I turn around, and walk through the doorway that leads up to the stairs to go to the second floor.

I quickly walk up the stairs, excited to be back here.

I've missed this place a lot.

Once I get to the top of the stairs, I walk through the doorway, and stop in my tracks.

My eyes widen, and I see men standing around the room.

I quickly hide behind the doorway, and peek my head through. It looks like they are talking about the castle. But why would they be here?

I bring my head back behind the wall, so I won't have a chance to be scene by any of them in there.

I can hear them talking, but I can't make out what they're saying.

Why are they here? what are they doing?

I have so many questions right now, but I know I can't get the answer to them.

I hear footsteps coming closer, and I try my best to hide behind the wall. Then I hear people talking...

"Where is she?" one man asks.

"I don't know, I thought she would come here, but maybe I was wrong." Another man says.

Who are they talking about?

"Why do we need her again?" One man asks.

"Because, she has powers, and that is valuable." The other man says.

Oh no...

Were they talking about me? or were they talking about Anna?

I shake the thoughts from my head, and continue to listen.

"She ran away, so I thought she would be here, but I guess not." One of them says.

I swear I remember that voice from somewhere.....

"She has a sister too, but I don't know if she has magic." another one said.

So they were talking about me.

"Well once we find her, we can kill her and her sister." another one says.

I gasp, and cover my mouth.

Why would they want to kill us? do they want the throne? I think yes.

I continue to listen to their conversation, when I hear footsteps coming my way.

I hide even more behind the wall, and hope that they won't be able to find me.

Their talking gets louder and louder as the footsteps get closer, and I start to hold my breath, so they won't here me breathing.

I close my eyes shut, and turn my head away from the doorway.

I catch my breath, giving up on trying to hold it in. I open my eyes, and turn my head towards the doorway.

My eyes widen, as I look at two men staring straight at me.
