After The Storm (chapter 21)

Chapter 21

Anna's POV

I start to walk over to Elsa, but she turns around. Her eyes are red with tears running down her face, when she sees me, her eyes widen.

"Anna....!" she yells, and gives me a hug. I hug her back, and I can feel her tears dripping on the sleeve if my dress.

"Are you ok...?!" she asks as she pulls away from the hug.

"Yes, I'm fine... I just need to talk to you." I say and look up at her. She looks back at me, in a worried expression.

"What is it...?" she asks wiping her tears away. I walk up to her and wipe the remaining tears with my thumb, then step back and start to talk.

"Well, when I ran away, I ran for a reason, I went to go see the trolls, because I knew they were the only ones who could answer my questions..." I pause for her. she nods her head, motioning me to continue.

"When I got there, I told them that I had fire magic, and they were completely surprised. After that they....uhm... they told me that I still have... ice in my heart..." I look away, trying so hard to hold back the tears, but Elsa lifts my chin up, and smiles at me.

"I know how to thaw your frozen heart." she smiles. I look up at her, as if to ask how. She caught on, and started to talk.

"Kristoff." she says. I smile back at her, and we both laugh a little, then I started to talk.

"But, what if he doesn't love me? what will I do then?" I ask, frowning again.

She gives me a light smile, then answers. "He already told me he loves you."

My eyes widen, and my heart warms at the thought of that, and my hands go hot. I hold my hands together, to make sure fire doesn't come bursting out.

"Really...?" is all I can get out. she nods her head, and I give her a big smile.

"Is that why he was here for lunch?" I ask. even though I know the answer.

"Yes! he stayed for dinner too... but it wasn't the best dinner..." she says looking away.

"You have to tell him, about this!" I practically shout.

"He already knows, not about the fire, we just found out today, but he already knew about the frozen heart." she states.

Then, the chest pain comes back. I put my hands on my chest, trip over my feet, and fall to the ground. Elsa runs over to me.

"Anna... are you ok?" she asks with a scared look on her face. I can't get any words out, so I just nod. She helps me get up, and takes me to lay on the bed.

"Stay here, I will be right back." she says, but I don't want her to go.

"No!" I manage to get out. she whips around and looks at me. " I want you to stay here, with me." I simply say. She smiles at me, and sits on the edge of the bed, grabbing my hand. I look down at her hands, then to her face.

"Everything will be ok." she smiles at me, and I smile back at her, closing my eyes.
