After The Storm (chapter 41)

Chapter 41

Elsa's POV

As Kristoff and I jump through the huge hole in the wall, we quickly his behind the wall, and waited for Anna to jump through. After a while, Anna never came through the hole.

"Where is she?" Kristoff asks worriedly. I shrug, and peek through the hole. When I look through, she isn't in there.

"Anna...." I whisper to myself, and stare into the blank room.

Then suddenly, I hear a yelp come through the hallway. I can't make out the words, but I have a feeling that it's Anna.

"We have to find her." I state, and Kristoff nods. We jump back through the hole in the wall, and rush over to the door. I peek through the hallway, and I don't see anyone, but I hear someone scream, "Help!!!" I rush out of the room, and down the hallway, but I make sure I can't be seen. Kristoff follows, not so far behind me, and we both listen more. Now I can make out talking, because they are right around the corner.

"Tell me where your sister is, NOW!" someone yells, I'm guessing it's Hans.

"I'm not telling you anything!" Anna yelps, weakly.

"Tell me now, or I will kill you!" Hans yells, and I gasp. I have to hide, because she is obviously going to tell him, she doesn't want to die, right?

"No, I'm not telling you!" Anna declares, and my eyes widen because I'm totally caught off guard.

"Come with me then." Hans says, and I can hear him dragging Anna across the hallway. I peek around the corner, and Anna spots me.

Then something totally unexpected happens.

"There she is!" Anna yells, pointing in my direction. I'm so shocked, I can't even move. I can't even say a word. Sure she doesn't want to die, but she gave me away? that's not what sisters do...

"Elsa!" Kristoff yells, and I turn to look at him, then run towards him. I follow him to my room, and we jump through the big hole.

By now, I'm just so shocked, everything is coming at me so fast right now. I can feel the tears welling up in my eyes. How could she betray me!? I look back, and I don't see anyone chasing after us, so that's good, I guess. I turn my head back around, and stop running.

Kristoff stops running too, but he is a couple feet in front of me. He puts his hands on his knees, and starts to pant.

I'm panting too, and suddenly I just drop to the ground, on my knees, and tears start to tumble down my face. I look at my hand, and remember that Anna still has a frozen heart.

I really do care about Anna, but I'm so mad and confused, that I don't know what to think of her right now. She could freeze to death right at this minute, but do I care? no, I don't. but then again, I really do care. I don't want her to die, and I want her to be safe. I'm just really mad right now. But I know that if she does die, she will always be in my heart, with me.

I look up at Kristoff, and he is still panting, from running so much.

We are standing in the middle of nowhere, and that doesn't really bother me right now, because right now, all I want to do is... scream, and cry, and let it go....
