I was in the back of the car, hugging Ben. My mum knew better that to ask, she knew I woul tell her when I needed to.

For now I was just helping Ben. He was extremely scared and upset. I felt him start to cry, and kissed his forehand, as he hugged my shoulder.

We stayed like this for a while, and eventually he seemed to calm down.

'Mum, could we go to the hospital, he's bleeding a bit, and got quite a few kicks and hits to the stomach.'

'Sure sweety, but you know that this means the police will get involved?'

'If that's what it takes to get Ben safe and unharmed, then we do it.'

'Ok, how about the story?'

'Well, I'll tell my part as best I can.'

'That's fine.'

'Well, yesterday Ben and I went on a date, without anyone knowing it was a date. We both went to Nando's and had dinner, then we retuned to his place and talked for a bit...talking led to us having a kiss. After the kiss we began to play...'

'I swear to god if you say play around with eachother you will end up in the hospital as well.'

'Mum. Chill. We began to play Xbox until his mum got home, then we went to bed. When we woke up, we each had a shower, not together. We played some more PlayStation, and then Ben asked if he should come out as gay. I told him that it was up to him, and whatever he felt comfortable with.'

'Good decision.'

'Well, then he decided that it would be hard for us to be dating if his parents didn't know, so I said that if he wanted to, he could tell them over breakfast. He did. His dad was slightly annoyed when he told him, but he dealt with it ok, or so I thought.'

'We are almost at the hospital, u can continue inside.'

'Ok mum, we'll probably have quite a wait.'

I looked at Ben and smiled, he was cute when he was upset...i know it's not the best thing to think, but it was true.

We pulled in to the hospital car park.
