I Can Walk!

It's been a week since the accident, and I've been cleared to try and walk, as long as I'm assisted. I was allowed to move my hands on Thursday, and now, I get to go to physio to try and walk.

It's a big day for me.

I was being wheeled down to the physiotherapy unit now. It's not that far from where I was anyways.

Charlie was walking beside me.

'Hey Dre?'

'Yes Char?'

'Hope u do well.' He leant down and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

'Thanks.' He was coming too, just he was basically back to normal, and he was looking good. He still had six pack, just a little less defined.

We got to the physiotherapy unit and I got introduced and we started our practicing.

It was just me and Charlie, all alone. Mum had gone to work for a bit, and Ben was at a therapist.

Charlie and I were sitting on my bed together.

It felt great to be able to sit up on my own, although right now I was just using the pillows.

'I love you Dre.'

'I love you too Char.' I leant in for a kiss, and he didn't refuse.

Our lips connected and it was magical.

I moved my hands to his abs and had a good feel around. They were still pretty formed.

'Not now Leo!'

'Ok.' I pulled my hand out and we broke the kiss. 'Why not char?'

'Because we can't get horny in a hospital!'

'Oh...ok.'

'Doesn't mean I don't want to tho'

'JESUS! Someone is ready!' He said, a knowing look in his eyes. 'It's a shame ur in hospital for another week.'

'Ok.'

'And I promise I will visit whenever I can.'

'I love you Charlie.'

'Same here Leo, same here.' He kissed me on the cheek.

I was in my new room, they moved me to a solo recovery room, although it was still massive.

Charlie's family just left, taking Charlie with them. Ben had to go home, for some reason mum wouldn't tell me.

Mum was sitting on one side of me, and we were both watching the tv.

There was a knock on the door.

'Come in!' I shouted.

In walked Charlie.

'Why are you back?'

'Why do u sound angry? My parents said I could stay the night, since it's not a school night.'

'Yay!' I said as he climbed onto the hospital bed and squished in beside me.

'You boys aren't sleeping in that bed together tho.' My mum said.

'Ok.' Charlie said as he put his arms around me.

'But I'm glad your here for him Charlie.' Mum said.

'Always Mrs. Devries.'

'Good.'
