Charlie's P.O.V

I was sitting opposite Leondre and I could see this had hit him really hard. I couldn't even begin to imagine the pain he was going thru, being the one to find Ben, and get the letter. It must be really hard for him emotionally. I realised that he's just gonna need me to be there for him no matter what. I moved so I was sitting next to him, and pulled him into a hug. He didn't resist, instead, he let me pull him in tightly, and I felt him start to cry. I remained quiet, and just let him process it all, the others went through to say their final farewells to Ben, but I stayed out with Leo.

When the others came back, I stood up and Leo stayed clinger to me, we shuffled into the curtained area and I said my final farewells while Leo cried. Then it was Leo's turn, and he collapsed onto my knees. I caught him and sat him on my knee, like a father hold with his 2 year old son. He leaned into my shoulder and sobbed out his farewells. After he finished I tried to move Leo, but he wouldn't leave. I got Sam and Clay to help me move him, and between us, we carried him out of that section of the room, and sat him down on one of the couches. The doctors walked in, getting set up to turn off life support.

We made Leo listen to his music loudly, so he wouldn't hear anything, and I buried his face in my chest, so he couldn't see anything. He was quite happy with this arrangement. I put my headphone in, because I don't want to hear anything either, I noticed Sam and Clay do the same. We all sat there, watching it happen. It wasn't the nicest thing to see, but eventually it was over, and it was time to go home. We had all arranged with Leo's mum to stay there again overnight. So we all got into the car, Leo and I in the very back, Sam and Clay in the back and Leo's mum up front. He was still really upset, and I was so sad and mad I couldn't do anything to help him, or make him feel better. "He's Gone." Is all he could say. It was heart breaking to hear that, although unfortunately it was true.

When we got back, we ordered pizza and waited for it to arrive. Leo's mum decided that we needed to watch a happy/funny movie so we started off on our search. We couldn't really think properly, as we were all hungry. We waited for the pizza to arrive, then we decided to watch Despicable Me. We all crowded into the lounge, and brought down Leo's mattress. Leo and I shared half or the couch, and Leo's mum had the other half. Sam and Clay shared Leo's mattress.

We all weren't in a very happy mood, but watching despicable me, we all laughed a bit, which I think is what Leo's mum wanted when she put it on. By the time the end of the movie came, Leo was fast asleep on me. It wasn't that late, but he'd had a big day so we left him. We turned off the tv and decided to all try and get an early night.
