'Oh....it's because when I came out as gay, everyone I thought were friends bullied me for it, and everyone started being me to me. That drove me to cutting myself, my mum found out and thought being at a new school would help.'

I looked at his watch. 'Well it's 2:45, what time does ur family get home?'

'About 5, so I need to be back at about four to clean my room and stuff.'

'Ok, so tell me about ur family.'

'Well, my mum is a chef, and she works about 10hrs a day. My dad is a distributor, so he is in charge of the big distribution factory just outta town. That's how e gets all that shit, it stuff that's been damaged in some way and that companies refuse to sell. And ten I have an older sister who's 19.'

'Wow, ok.'

'Now tell me about ur family, unless u feel...uncomfortable'

'Nah it's fine. My mum works at the hospital as a nurse so she has pretty long shifts. Then I didn't even know who my dad was until last week, and he's facing child abuse charges for punching and kicking Ben. So Ben is my half brother and adopted brother. That's it.'

'Wow, and the trials this week isn't it?'

'Yeah, Wednesday, an I have to go and so does Ben. I'll try and text u when I can. But we definitely need to hang out then, the three of us, he's gonna be sad and I think the best thing for him is to keep busy.'

'Definately.'
