Chardre: The Inseparable

Theres a Few Ways of Leaving...

I heard a car honking, that must be my mum...

I ran downstairs, taking them two at a time, I raced to the front door, and said goodbye to Mrs. Fortis.

Ben followed me down and we said our goodbyes (pretending to be only mates).

I started the long walk down their driveway.

Ben's P.O.V

I said goodby to Leo, and shut the door.

When I turned around, I saw my dad, the big fat ugly beast he was.

'So my sons a faggot?' He said.

'Y-y-y-yeah...'

'Okay, come to me.'

I walked a little closer to him.

He grabbed me by the wrist and pushed me against the door, and started punching me, blow after blow hit my stomach, winding me and making me feel woozy.

'My son ain't no faggot!' He said as he threw me to the ground.

'LEO!LEO!LEO!LEO!' I yelled, my voice dampening every time my father kicked me.

Leo's P.O.V

'LEO!LEO!LEO!LEO!' I heard my name being called again and again, and it sounded painful.

I recognised the voice as Ben's and just as I came into sight of my mum, I turned around and started running towards Ben's front door.

I tried too pen the handle, but it was locked, so I tried shouldering it like you see on TV but that didn't work, and it hurt my shoulder.

I saw an open window, and i jumped through it, luckily landing on the couch.

I got up and saw the worst thing is seen in my life. I saw Ben's dad kicking Ben and punching him, and Ben on the flor crying and bleeding.

I ran straight into Mr. Fortis, trying to tackle him, I made him stop long enough for Ben to get up and rush outside.

I kicked Mr. Fortis as hard as I could in the shin, making him bellow in pain, and stop for a while.

While he was down, I elbowed him in the back of the neck, knocking him out.

'Go and get some clothes and stuff, ur staying at my place for a while.' I said as I turned to look at him. We both ran upstairs and I helped him pack as much of his stuff into a bag as possible. 'Don't worry, we are about the same size, just get some stuff so we can leave!'

We big rushed downstairs, to see Mr. Fortis slowly getting up. Before he could register us being in the same room as him, we were already out the door and running down the long driveway.

We rushed to my mums car, and Ben and I both jumped into the back seat.

'Hey Leo! Who's this and whys he coming with us?' She asked, as Mr. Fortis appeared around the corner of their drive.

'That guy who's coming is Ben's dad, and was just beating him, please drive, I'll explain the whole thing a bit later.

Her face grew to immediate concern, and she drove off, fast.
