The Hospital...Again

Sorry if I get any of the technical terms wrong!

As I was loaded into the ambulance, I felt myself pass out.

--Hospital--

I slowly opened my eyes, the light hurt my eyes. There was a face in front of me.

It looked familiar, but I couldn't think who it was. I tried moving, and I realised that there was someone holding my hand, and someone asleep? On my legs.

I wiggled again and the weight on my feet lessened.

'He's awake I think mum.' That must be Ben.

'Thanks Ben' Mum.

I tried saying something, but all that can out was a garbled mess. I tried turning my head, and I saw charlie in my peri feral vision, he was asleep.

'Leo, the doctor has said not to move and to try and not talk. There is a policeman outside wanting to talk to you.'

The door opened and Te same policemen as last time walked in.

'Good to see you again Leondre, although I had hoped it wouldn't be in a way like this.'

I just stared at him.

'Ok, I know you can't talk, so I want to ask one question to begin with. Can u blink?'

I decided that blinking would be the best way to answer. I blinked a few times.

'Good, now, can u wink?'

I winked with each we a few times.

'Good, now, left is No and right is Yes, ok?'

I winked with my right eye.

'Good, now I'm going to ask you some yes or no questions and I want you to try and answers them as well as u can. Ok?'

RIGHT

'Do you know what day it is?'

LEFT

'Thought so, it's....11:30pm on Sunday, it's been one day since the incident. Do you remember what happened?'

RIGHT

'Ok, was it the same people as last time?'

RIGHT

'That's a shame. Do you know who they are?'

RIGHT

'Good. Are they in your year?'

RIGHT

'Don't know?'

RIGHT

'Do you think they are in you year?'

RIGHT

'So, now I'm going to get the doctor to come in and tell you about what's happened. Is that ok?''

'Haha, ok.'

The doctor walked in.

Hello Leo, are u in a lot of pain first of all?'

RIGHT

'Ok. So I'm going to start with you.'

I stared at him.

'So, because of the abuse u received, you have about 4 broken ribs, and a a bleeding stomach. You will need surgery for the stomach. That is why you have been asleep for so long. I recommended that you don't  try to move or talk at all. Do u understand me?'

RIGHT

'Good, now I'll tell you about Charlie. He has one broken rib, and has servers stomach bruising, he doesn't need any surgery but he will need a lot of rest. He should be cleared in a few days, and thankful he can still walk, although I can advise that he doesn't try to. Ok?'

RIGHT

'I have one more thing to say, you will be in hospital for at least another week, maybe two, I'm sorry.'

'I'm sorry Leo, it needs to happen. Fortunately, I have you booked in for surgery tonight, which means that tomorrow you should be alright to talk, although we will see how you are after the surgery.'
