I was sitting on the edge of the bed, with Ben crying on my shoulder. He was absolutely heartbroken from the letter. Even though it isn't right, I kissed Ben on the forehead, and helped him calm down a bit.

'Hey boys? There's one more price of paper, and j think you should read this before head round to Ben's house.'

'Ok, I'll read it again.' I said.

Mum handed me the price of paper and I had a quick glance at it. Yay!!! It was adoption papers for Ben! I couldn't believe that my mum had done this for someone she barely knew!

'Ben! Ben! You should read this!' I slammed the piece of paper in his chest, and he reluctantly looked at the paper.

I saw his face brighten a bit. 'But...these are adoption papers for me? What how?'

'When I got the letter from your mum, I had a quick read over it, sorry Ben, but then I saw that she was putting you up for adoption and I immediately called some people and arranged for me to adopt you. As your over 12, you need to sign the adoption form to prove your ok with this, and once you've done that, if you want to of course, we will head over to your house to collect you things.'

Ben smiled gratefully at Mum,'thanks Miss Devries, I am definitely going to sign this!'

'You can sign that on one condition.'

'What's that?'

'You are not allowed to call me Miss Devries, you can either call me mum or Victoria.'

'Ok...mum'

Ben signed the page, and we all went downstairs and got into the car.

'Off to Ben's house!' My mum said, putting on a posh voice.

Time Skip: Ben's House

We all got out of the car and began the long walk up Ben's drive.

When we reached the top, the cars were gone and the door was left unlocked.

We walked in and up the stairs to Ben's room. As we started putting the stuff into the boxes, mum left the room to go and bring the car up the drive.

She returned with her little tool kit and started taking the TV off the wall. We took care in doing this, and put the TV and Xbox in a box on their own.

Ben started to cry, so I left mum to it and took him out of the room. In the hall, we hugged for a while, until he had calmed down.

We walked back in together and we continued to pack.

As we finished, we each grabbed a box and carried it down to the car.

We just managed to fit the boxes into the car. We were cramped in for the ride.

When we got home, we put it all into the spare room, Ben's room, and left Ben alone for a while.

'Hey mum?'

'Yes sweetie?'

'Umm...I don't know how to say this without sounding really weird.'

'That's ok sweetie just say it.'

'Well, you know how he's really upset?'

'Yes sweetie?'

'Well...and you know how this is all new?'

'Yes....where are you going with this?'

'Well...is it ok if I still kiss and or spoon him for a while? I know what it sounds like, but he's very unstable at the moment'

'Sweetie, as this is new...yes...it is ok, but if by the end of the month you haven't, then you will get into trouble.' The end of the month! Today was the 4th! That was almost a whole month!
