Namjoon was not intentionally trting to make Yoongi feel any specific way; by no means would he ever intend to hurt Yoongi whether it be physically or emtionally ir any other kind of way. He just felt, for the time being, that he should be a bit careful as to how they were with one another.
They had allowed thrmselves to get comfortable, and although he haf no problem with the group knowing about their relationship-considering Jimin and Jin were already aware- but what he didn't want was someone to find out through seeing something and then making it a bit of a big deal. Not that he felt any one would, but he'd much rather himself and Yoongi tell them personally and when they were ready.

And as happy as he was to hear that line, his chest hurt just the same. For what reason was unknown, but the atmosphere seemed to change and he couldn't help but feel it was his fault. Which it was, but before they made any more moves he wanted to be sure they could without javing to worry about someone brwathing down their necks.

The drop in mood didnt stop there though, because once those words left Namjoon's lips he could see that it wasn't the best suggestion, but.. He was really just so confused and lost over such a small thing that could potentially be a big thing and didnt know how to go about it. Not even the slightest clue as to how to handle it.
Perhaps, instead of trying to come up with a solution he should go about the day like he would any other time? No. He'd just wait until it was time for them to settle diwn fir the night and talk about it with Yoongi. It sounded like a much more solid idea.

And because he'd been so concerned with his thoughts, by the time he removed himself from them, Yoongi had already began to apply the foundation to the bruises. He let out a soft sigh and ran his fingers through Yoongi's hair slowly." Jin is making breakfast for us.. I'll go ahead and make a bowl for you.." He said softly, letting his hand drop back down to his side before he left the bathroom.
Why was it so hard to even say that? Suddenly, it seemed like things had completely flipped around, but for now he would just focus on helping Jin serve everyone up, because that seemed to be one of the few things that was easy at the moment.

Honestly, having to cover up the love bites shouldn't have been such a big deal, but for Yoongi they were more than just a simple bruise. He thought of them as a reminder that what they had was real; he was proud to have them and having to cover them seemed to be counteractive.

Namjoon running his hand through his hair was painful to say the least; other times he would've leaned into his touch, but this time he couldn't even move. Suga watched Namjoon through the mirror as he left the bathroom, his attention then traveled to his own reflection.

There was no way he'd be able to cover all of the marks without feeling even worse than he already did. Instead, he resorted to covering the most noticeable ones before heading back to the bedroom. It took him a while to find what he was looking for, but www relieved once he did. Suga pulled off his current sweater and threw it to the side. He then pulled on the hooded sweatshirt that he'd just found and checked to see if it was able to hide the uncovered hickies and much to his disappointment; it did.

Remembering that Namjoon had mentioned breakfast, Suga left the room and made his way to the kitchen.

Namjoon was just hoping that Yoongi wasn't going to be too upset. He seemed to be more than disappointed with the fact that Namjoon had suggested he cover up the hickies, but he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do-and thats where it got to be the most confusing.
He didn't want Yoongi to cover them up bevause he felt embarrassed or that he was swcond guessing their relationship, but he really didnt want it to be a big deal for the group as a whole. He was more than proud and happy with last night, but he didn't want to give Jungkook or anyone else any more reason to try and catch them red handed when it was ultimately none of their business.

When he got to the kitchen, Jin had juat finished with the steaming the ladt of the vegetables and was getting ready to start getting the rice into bowls, but Namjoon quickly offered to do so, dishing one out at a time while Jin placed the vegetables in the bowl, calling one of the other four boys until they were all given their bowls and himself, Namjoon and Yoongi were left.
Namjoon made sure that Jin was set with his own bowl before sending him off and relieving him of his self-proclaimed duty and then made his and Yoongi's bowls.
Honestly, he was almost dreading suga coming out into the living room-not bevause he didnt necessarily want to see him, but the air between them had very obviously changed and he wanted nothing more than to put it back but at the same time he easnt aure if he should try so quickly because he didn't want to confuse him.
With his own bowl and chopsticks in hand, Namjoon situated himself on the counter of the island, waiting patiently until his boyfriend would(hopefully join him) arrive.

Suga honesty didn't think that any of the guys would cross the line of trying to catch Namjoon and him red handed so he didn't see any issue with letting them see the marks.

He really didn't feel as hungry as he normally would have, but figured it'd be best to eat anyways so he wouldn't get a mouthful from Jin. Suga wasn't surprised to see Namjoon in the kitchen when he entered but didn't bother with a greeting as they've already seen each other this morning.

Suga grabbed the bowl of veggies and rice as well as a pair of chopsticks and began to eat. He stood leaning against the counter across from the one Namjoon was currently on and tried not to look upset or disappointed.

Okay, so Namjoon could understand that Suga would be upset. He had evey right to be, as namjoon hadn't clearly communicated as to why it was he thought it best to cover up the marks, as well as his lack of showing Yoongi much attention unlike any other day. It was very possible that Namjoon had gone overboard, but did he have to stand across from him? The man could hardly look anything but pleased or happy. Maybe he could pass for content, but with Namjoon's knowledge it was likely it was just more obvious to him that yoongi wasn't happy.

" So.." He started off, clearing his throat quickly in hopes of ridding any nerves that might come out through his voice before he continued. He took a moment to look up from his food and over at Suga, and obviously he couldn't ignore the fact that he was wearing an entirely different shirt than earlier and.. his neck had been covered, just as Namjoon wished, right? Yes. And that was what made it ten times worse. He adverted his gaze back down to his bowl and picked at the vegetables with his chopstick mindlessly." You.. Didn't have to go so far as to change." He said softly prior to taking a few pieces of carrot and a bite of rice into his mouth." You don't want to at least stand closer? It's a bit lonely and I'm sure it isnt any better over there-"
