Chapter 6: Baby Boy

Jay's POV

I was really furious when she talked about my mother. Old memories started to haunt me. I locked myself inside my office room and tried to divert my attention to the loads of work I has. I couldn't sleep well for few days. Leon nor others didn't disturb me because they knew that I don't like people disturb me when I'm so not in the mood.

I went to the club and started to drink different types of alcohol. I don't remember about what happened after that.

I felt someone wipes my face, arms and shirt but I was too tired to open my eyes.

When I opened my eyes, I saw someone sat right in front of me. I couldn't clearly saw who that person is. I'm so sleepy so I slept back.

I woke up with birds chirping voices. I quickly lifted up by body and see around.

Damn, where I am?

I saw one glass of orange juice, with two slices of sandwiches. There is a small note attached on that table. I walked to that table and take the note.

''You helped me, I helped you back. We are settled now. When you leave, put my key under the money plant at outside. Get your ass back to your place, baby boy''

I chuckled with the last word. I don't know who helped me but seems like he doesn't take any advantage on me. I saw my wallet on the drawer next to the bed. I didn't found any pictures attached around. After washed my face, I walked out from the house. Maybe I will come again next time to thank him. I entered my office late at evening. Leon, the 'worried guy' storms inside office.

''Man, where have you been? I looked for you everywhere. You know that?'', Leon said that exasperatedly.

''Dude, the world doesn't end. Don't get over worried.'', I chuckled with his expression.

Honestly, only he cared about me.

''Hmmm.... You still can laugh? What happened? where had you gone to?'', Leon asked me.

''I don't remember about it. But someone helped me though. I guess, I got wasted.'', I replied him back.

''That's gross. What are you? A kid?'', Leon teased.

''Shut up, man'', I pointed out.

''By the way, you told me that you wanted to visit our financial departments. You can make it today?'', Leon asked me.

''Yeah, there is something I need to see through. The statements are miscalculated. I don't know whether it was done by division 1 or 2. I need to give them some briefing.'', I told him.

''But they must have shocked with your sudden visit. Hahaha... the workers never see you except for the managers, isn't it?'', Leon chuckled.

''Well, maybe it's time for me to show up a bit'', I said back.

After that, we head to the financial department division 1 which is at the 16th floor. After done some survey, we went to 15th floor. The manager, Mr Elias greeted us well. I didn't meet the employees since I deal with the manager and the reports only.

 ''The reports are checked by our supervisor. You want to meet her?'', Elias asked. 

''No, that's alright.'', I replied.
