Chapter 8: Privacy

Jay's POV

I never had any feelings for her. She is not my type of course. But I couldn't have stopped myself from kissing her. I was so angry and I wanted to teach her a lesson.

She talked a lot.

But when I saw her fainted in my arms, guilt surrounded me. I supposed to not do that.

Damn, that's why I like to be alone whenever I mood out because I will do something crazy like this. I put her on the black leather buttoned L-shaped couch. I don't know how to face her when she woke up.

God, please rewind the time.

I looked at her face. She looked tired and I can see the dark spot under her eyes. I raised my finger and pushed back the strand of her hair behind her ear. I then back to desk and continue my typing work ; wished for her to gain her conscious back.

Leon entered inside and shocked seeing Jessy. I can say it through his expression.

Jessy POV

I felt so heavy to open my eyes. I feel like want to sleep forever. I suddenly remembered back about Edwin's face. So, I lifted my body quickly while panting.

''Hey, you OK?'', one familiar voice asked me. I saw Edwin who walked toward me. I'm starting to shiver. I closed my eyes tightly while put my hands over my ears and scream. ''LEAVE ME ALONE!! PLEASE...'' My tears started to streaming down.

Someone shook me up. I gasped. I saw Leon who is right in front of me, looking worried.

''What's up? Are you OK?'', he asked. I nodded my head. I saw the time which shows 2 pm. Damn, I slept off for about 5 hours. I wiped my tears away. I realized that I'm still in Jay's office room.

''I wanted to go back. I'm sorry'', I told him. I barely heard my own voice. My mind is clouded with some past.

''Ok, cool. Let me drop you to your place. Jay is in an urgent meeting. So...'', I remembered back everything that happened when I heard Jay's name.

''I don't want to meet him ever!!'', I yelled.

''Hey, cool.... Please.'', Leon told me with his concerned voice. I looked up to him.

''Listen to me. He was really guilty for what he'd done to you. He got some issues about his family. So, that's why he went out of control'', he told me while tapping my shoulder softly.

FAMILY.... Family problem. Jay had some family problem. I shook my head. ''Be sane, Jessy. Don't get mad'', I tell to myself.

''I... j...ust need to be a...lone'', my voice looked choked. He nodded.

Even though, he told me that he wanted to drop me but I refused. I decided to walked back to my house. I wanted to go back. That's what I told to myself. I sat on the couch at the hall. I hugged my own knees while resting my chin on it. Water dropped from my hair on the couch. I tried to calm my mind.

When my eyes about to close, I heard the bell rang. I walked to the door and opened it. Blake stood there while looking worried about me.

''You.....OK?'', she asked me worriedly. I nodded and let her in.

''That bastard.... How can he do like that?'', she said angrily. I was surprised when Blake knew about that matter.

''How'd you know?'', I asked. Blake flushed. She cleared her throat.
