Chapter 10: Alivia

Jessy POV

That night, I slept well. Very well without Edwin's dream. It's my first time, I had such a peaceful sleep.

By the time I woke up, it's already 12 pm. God, I missed the meeting. I saw a message from Jay who ask me to take enough rest.

They came back at evening. We went to have dinner at one seafood restaurant. After that, we went out to visit some places.

At night, as usual everyone makes out with their partner. Jay and I ended up walked around the sidewalk. We came back to our hotel room.

''Thanks'', I told him when he about to walked to his room. He turned his sight to me. ''thanks for yesterday'', I added.

''That's alright. It's my pleasure'', he said that while looking at me. I saw his blue eyes. I really loved his eyes.

Jay raised his hand to my cheek while stroking it softly. He has such a soft hand. I could feel myself lost in his touch.

Before I know, Jay starts to lean in while my body couldn't move at all. When he about to kiss each me, someone opened the door. I leaned back quickly. Blake was there. I couldn't express my gratitude to her for her sudden appearance.

Thank you, God. I nearly made a mistake.

''Hey, you guys are here? '', Blake asked us. I turned my sight to Blake. I know Jay was looking at me. I walked inside, leaving them both together at outside. I hide behind the bathroom door.

''What's wrong with her?'', she asked him.

''She's just tired. I go back to my room first'', Jay walked out from there. I felt relieved after he walked out.

We back to our place the next day. Jay nor I didn't talk with each other since the accident. And I decided to stay away from him. It was just a situation. I don't want to think too much. I wanted to back to my old routine. My own world.

Since then, I tried my best to not come across with Jay. Blake started to hang out with Leon. So, I feel relieved a lot.

At a weekend, I decided to just stay in the house. My nightmares are getting worse these recently.

Edwin, why must this all happened? Why you don't understand my feelings?

My mind was snapped out with the bell ring. I let out a sigh and walked to my main door. When I opened the door, I was shocked seeing Jay who stood right in front of me. He has the same expression as me, like he didn't expect my appearance.

''w....what are you doing here'', I don't know why words are stammering.

''You live here?'', Jay asked me disbelievingly.

''Of course I am. Hmmm... get inside'', I invited him inside. Jay sat on the couch. I bring a glass of juice for him. He took it and drink it.

''Thanks'', he said and I just nod. No one talks anything for a while.

''I don't know that you are the one who bring me here last time'', Jay told me and I stare at his blue eyes.

''You don't remember?'', I asked him back.

''No'', he said it shortly.

''Well, of course. You were so drunk that time.'', I pointed him out.

''You live here alone?''

''Yeah'', I sit on my knees in front of the coffee table and grabbed the tray and the glass.

''Why are you avoiding me?'', his question makes me to drop the tray along with the glass. I was anxious and turned my sight to the broken pieces of glass. I know he was staring at me.
