Chapter 12: Family

Jay's POV

They supposed to not do like that. What the heck. How can they use my sister? Thinking about it make my blood boiled.

I brought Alivia to my house. She looked very down and broken. It's my fault. She was in this situation because of me. I let her hand and bow down my head.

''I'm sorry Alivia. I realize that I bring you nothing but just pain'', I said it.

''I don't know that they put such a worse act like this. I'm so sorry. It's my fault.'', I gripped my hand.

''I will move far from you. I don't want....'', before I said anything, Alivia hugged me, make me startled. She sobbed.

''Don't go, brother. Please.... It's my fault. I realize it too late. When they lock me inside, I only thought about you. I missed you so much. I blame you because of mom's death but she saved you because she loved you. She would do the same thing for me too. I'm so sorry.... don't leave me.'', Alivia cried. I hugged her back.

''I love you so much, dear'', I told her while tapping her shoulder.

''I love you too, brother'', she said it. She is my world, always.

''I'm so hungry. Can you cook spaghetti like how you used to cook when mom gone to work? I missed your cooking'', Alivia said it while holding my arms.

I laughed while agreed to her request.

Jessy POV

I feel less burdened somehow. Jay and Alivia will start a new life over. I smiled thinking about it. I hugged the pillow and fell asleep.

''Jessy'', I woke up after heard that voice. I lifted up my body. I saw Edwin again. He stood at the doorway.

''E....E....Edwin?'', my voice started to shuttered. Edwin was holding one knife.

''How can you feel less burden now? Do you forget what happened to me?'', he asked me seriously.

''Please.... I'm so sorry.... but....I.....'', I started to cry.

Someone opened the door. I saw Jay who entered inside.

''Jay.... I'm so scared'', I cried.

When he steps toward me, Edwin stabbed Jay with the knife. Jay collapsed.

''JAY!!!'', I woke up while panting. I hugged the pillow tightly.

''It's just a dream.... It's just a dream'', I told to myself.

Time shows 2 pm. I was asleep for one hour.

No, I shouldn't sleep.

This is my life now. I took out my phone and started to read one story.

Few days passed, Leon told us that Jay brought his sister for a trip. They will be away for some days.

Everything back to normal. At least, that's how it should be at the first place.

Since it's weekend, as usual Blake forced me to come with her to the shopping mall. Leon joined us too. Leon and Blake was holding their hands while walking together. I just shook my head seeing the lovey-dovey couple. Blake turned back and saw me.

''Hey, what are you doing there. Come faster, babe'', she waved her hand to me. I let out a breath.

''Coming... coming...'', I walked towards them and accidentally bump into someone. I lifted up my hand and shocked seeing my mother and younger sister who stood there. I felt my heart stopped right there.
