Chapter 29: Death & Confrontation

Jay POV

Sophia didn't get the approval letter to encounter Edwin. So, we come to save her first. Sophia told me that she will come with her squad later. When I enter that room, I saw Jessy. Her hands were tied up at the both side of bed pole. There are few wire like tube attached on her forehead and she was shaking badly.

God, how dare him! I punch him very hardly. I ran towards Jessy. I cut the rope which tied her hands and take out those wires from her head.

''Jessy....'', I hugged her.

I felt hot all over her body. It must be because of the shock. Her face looked pale and she didn't response to me.

''Jay, watch out!!'', Alivia who come there, shout at me. I turned back.

Edwin is holding a metal bar and try to hit me but before that Charles step in and punch him. Edwin fell down. Edwin slightly shocked with Charles's appearance. But he laughed while standing up.

''Hey my dear brother, you are here too?'', Edwin asked Charles while grinning.

''WHY YOU DO THIS, EDWIN?? WE LOVED YOU VERY MUCH. MOM TRUSTED YOU SO MUCH. HOW CAN YOU KILL OUR OWN FATHER!!??'', Charles yelled.

''Why? you ask?'', Edwin smirked.

''BECAUSE I only love her.'', he said.

''SHE IS YOUR DAMN SISTER, EDWIN!!'', Charles shout angrily.

''Not for me, buddy. She is my lover, my sweetheart. I never had even slightest love to you all. You think how I get those money? Without me, you guys will end up in the street.'', Edwin said it in an insinuation tone while stepping back.

''If I know that you were giving such dirty money, we would throw it in your face long ago. You think we are depending your money? Mom ask you to not work. Mom never force you to work. And we loved you truly... how can....'', Charles voice breaks as tears filled in his eyes.

I cannot blame him for that. He loved Edwin very much as his brother. It must be hard to accept the fact.

''Give me a break. Don't be such a coward'', Edwin suddenly grab one bottle of acid which is at table besides him.

I guessed his filthy movement when he was getting himself near to that table. He splashes it on Charles but I pulled Charles before that.

Edwin missed his shot.

''You are such a coward'', I yelled as I storm towards him.

I hit him. He attacked me back. He is really stronger. But I didn't give up. I cannot forget what he done to her. I punch him harder again and again. He fell down at last. When I stepped forward, I heard Jessy gasped loud. Leon check Jessy's pulse.

''Shit, Jay.... he pulse is dropping'', Leon said it.

I ran towards Jessy. Jessy is breathing harder for a few seconds. And she suddenly stopped breathing.

''No, Jessy... don't leave me'', I shook her shoulder.

I pushed her chest few times; trying to do the first aid. But she didn't response. I lift up her chin and give her oxygen through mouth. I try to do the CPR. And I then I push her chest again and again. Suddenly she exhales. Everyone looked relieved. I hugged Jessy.

''Thank you, God... thank you very much'', I said it as I hear her breathing back to normal.

Edwin suddenly stand up and point one gun to me.

''You are the reason for everything!!', he screamed.

I don't how he get that gun. Maybe he kept this in his drawer.
