Chapter 24: Engagement

Jessy POV

He asked me to trust him. I wanted to trust him. I want to trust him completely. No matter what decision he take, I decide to just trust him.

Charles stayed in the upstairs guest house and I sleep with Alivia since Jay went out. He told that he will back home late. He doesn't want me to sleep alone, So, he asked me to share the bed with Alivia.

The next day, I felt some kind of aura around me. Everyone seemed busy with something. Leon told me that there is a party at the grand hall and he asked us to prepare ourselves.

At evening, Alivia bring me to one boutiques. Charles tag along. I didn't see Jay the whole day. Maybe, he is busy with the event. Alivia asked me to try few gowns. I refuse at first but she forced me out. At last she chose one blue mixed white gown for me. She has really good taste when it comes about fashion. It's a strapless gown and it looked really beautiful. She also bought a suit for Charles and a gown for herself.

After that, we went to the saloon to do the hair and make-up thing. I don't know why she looked so excited. At 7.30 pm, one limousine arrived to our place. we get inside it. We reach to the grand hall at 8pm sharply. We head towards the front door. One guy opens the door for us.

I was stunned seeing every guests who are looking at me. And Leon is talking at the stage. Blake was standing beside him.

''And now, let's welcome the engagement girl'', Everyone gave a round applause as Leon said that. I see around, still shocked with the situation.

''Brother prepare this event secretly for you, siz'', Alivia told me while holding me hand. ''He wants to get his engagement today'', she finished.

''W...whoa... I didn't expect this'' Charles said in amusement. I guess Charles doesn't know about this too.

Alivia grabs my hand and walks me at the middle of the hall. I feel so and so embarrassed since everyone is keep looking at me.

At the middle, I saw one glassed single table. There is a small ring box on top of it. Everyone suddenly clapped their hands again. I turned back and see Jay who is walking towards me.

God, he was so perfect with his tuxedo. He looked shocked seeing me. I can tell that through his expression. He stood right in front of me.

''Man, you look very beautiful'', he said in amuse; make me blushed.

''W...What the hell are you talking about'', I scold him lightly. He raises one of his brows. He grabbed my hand face the guests.

''Today is our engagement. Please bless us'', everyone cheered.

''Jay, what the hell are you doing'', I whisper to him. I really didn't expect this sudden engagement event. Jay just smile while taking the ring from the ring box.

''Baby, I love you so much'', he wore the ring in my finger. He leans in to my ear.

''Do you want me to embarrass me in front of the guests?'', he whispers to me. He purposely planning this.

Damn, Jay...

He turned to see the guests while pretending to smile. I take the ring. Jay shows his hand to me. I give him a cold stare to him. He winks his eye. I wore the ring to him finally.

Everyone cheered. I still looked pissed off. Seeing it, Jay grabs my wrist and pull me to his side. I was so close to him.

''Sorry for the sudden engagement. I'm sure you must have wanted your family to be with you now but I want to do it of all days in today. I love you Jessy'', he said that.

His eyes are really serious. I thought he playfully prepared this event but he seemed very serious and sincere.

This guy... one he can surprise me and make me awe struck.

''Damn, you look hot'', I spill out my words while grinning. He laughed.

''Just kiss me'', I demand.

Without waiting, he cups my face and kiss me in front of everyone and I kiss him back. I don't care about the surrounding. I don't feel shy with him now. I wanted him now. I see only him with me.

After that, I saw Leon and Blake walk to upstairs room together. I smiled seeing them. They become lovey-dovey couple. Charles and Alivia sat at one table and chit chatting. I can tell that both of them starting like each other. Jay's hand was on my waist and we are dancing, following the rhythm. He stares at me in awe.

''If the people are not here, I would take you here, right now'', he told me directly. I furrow my eyes brows.

''Jay, stop it'', I slap his arm.

''Do you know how beautiful you are? You drive me crazy, baby'', his said in a husky voice. I chuckled. I curl my arms around his neck.

''Uh huh?'', I mimicking his husky tone while bruising his neck.

''Aww.... Jessy, please. I really can't stop myself now'', he rolls his eyes.

''God Jay, get a hold of yourself'', I bit my lower lip, making him feel more tense. I purposely make him feel hot. I like to see his pissed face. He wanted to touch me so badly but he couldn't.

''I warn you Jessy. Don't do that'', he said, slightly pissed off.

I caress his arm and bit my lip again; challenging him. He stepped back. He walked away to talk with the guests there.

I chuckled seeing his expression. After that, we back to our house. Alivia and Charles back to their room respectively. .

Since, my dresses are in Jay's room, I enter inside his room to take my dress. He came out from the bathroom that time. He was shirtless and water flowing down from his face. I guess he washed his face just now. He smirked after see me.
