Chapter 15: Trouble

''I will be your dream catcher'', his words hitting my head as I felt a warm thing tighten around my waist and pulling me to a chest. When I opened my eyes, I saw a chest. I was almost on top of Jay, half of my body against his chest while his arms wrapped around me. I listened to his heart beating sound as my head was laying on his chest. And I realized that we both are lying on my bed.

He must have brought me to my room after I fell asleep. The room gets darker, maybe because the sun is setting. Jay opened his eyes. I get shocked and about to lift up my body but he pinned me against the bed and he move up his body to see me while supporting his elbow on the mattress. He stared me.

''You OK?'', he huskily asked me.

I nodded while looking at his eyes. He leans in to my earlobe. I felt his lips on the earlobe.

God, I can't express how I feeling now. I felt his breath around my ear, make me to close my eyes and my hands were raised to his chest automatically. He kissed my forehead, and I feel his lips contacting my cheek.

I knew my heart raced up because even I can feel my own heart beats. I opened my eyes and he leans in to kiss my lips. His lips are on mine and I found myself kissing him back. As I kiss him, I realized that I was too drown inside the situation. I quickly put my hands on his chest and push him back.

''Don't'', I stopped him. He leaned back and I turned my sight to avoid eye contact with him.

God, what I'm doing? I lift up my body.

Someone rang the bell. I get down from the bed and walk to the door.

''Hey siz, I back home early...'', she said it while making herself inside.

Jay came out from the room. Alivia get excited seeing Jay's face. She ran to him and hug him.

''I missed you so much'', Alivia expressed her feeling to him. Jay hugged back while smiling.

'Me too, dear'', his eyes met mine. I quickly turn my sight away from him. Alivia and Jay sat on the couch while chatting. I kept myself quiet.

''Jessy siz, let's go out to eat....'', Alivia asked me.

''Uh... ummm... no, I just want to stay in the house'', I said.

I know Jay was glaring at me. Alivia's phone rang. She walked out to take the call. I wanted to leave the couch too.

''Jessy, I...'', before he says anything, I interrupted.

''No, let me talk. It was a mistake. So, let us forget about it'', I told him straight away. I saw his expression changed to serious.

''I don't unintentionally kiss you. I kiss you because I want you.'', his raised his tone. I was shocked with him confession.

Wait, is that a confession or he simply told me?

I furrow my brows in disbelief.

''w.... what are you talking about?'', I asked him.

''I wanted to say this long ago. Stay with me after this. I will protect you. I will give you everything,'' he suddenly said that. My eyes widened and I stared him.

''come with me'', he asks softly.

''No'', I told him straight away. He rolled his eyes to me.

''Leave me alone'', I shrieked back.

''You know what's your problem is, Jessy?'' I see his firing eyes.

''You think only you has big problem. Did you ever try to rely on me or others? Did you know how much you hurt your family? But they still accept you because they love you truly. Only you don't want to try to be happy. You want to push people who care for you. And one day, you will end up standing alone. You want that way?'', he said it angrily.
