Chapter 23

When Sherlock woke up he was almost blinded by the bright lights. He blinked and groaned, his head hurt. His eyes widened as memories filled his mind,

"Toni!!" Where was she? Was she even alive? He looked around his hospital room. He was alone...

"You bastard...."  he heard a familiar voice say. He quickly turned to the doorway to see Toni sitting in a wheel chair, glaring at him. Her long black hair was in tangles, her face scarred, her legs in casts and her right arm in a sling,

"Just look at me!" She wheeled herself into the room,

"My hair is a mess and I need a shower!" They stared at each other for a few moments then busted out laughing. They hugged but then Sherlock winced. He looked down and saw that his leg was in a cast and he was pretty sure he had some stitches almost everywhere. He sighed,

"Oh god, I thought you were dead!"

"Yeah, well you're not getting rid of me that easily." She smirked and hugged him again. Sherlock looked at her beautiful face now covered in scars from the whip,

"I'm so sorry I got you into this mess..."

She laughed, "Are you kidding? That was so epic! Let's do it again next week! I got some awesome battle scars." She smirked and Sherlock chuckled,

"I had to carry you."

"Shut up!"

"Make me." They laughed,

"I was putting up quite a fight before you got there." Toni claimed. They smiled at each other, but then Sherlock thought of something...

"I can go home..." He said in a soft voice. Sebastian Moran was dead. The network was down. No more snipers... He could see John. His John. Toni smiled brightly,

"Oh my God! Go to him, dude! Do the slow motion run thing!!" She joked and Sherlock rolled his eyes,

"Oh shut up."

Toni smirked, "Make me."

A week went by. Sherlock and Toni were finally able to leave the hospital. Mycroft was waiting for them with a car,

"Glad to see you're better, little brother."

"Bite me."

Sherlock helped Toni into the car and soon they were on their way to Mycroft's house,

"Now Tonia--"

"Toni."

"-- Do your parents know where you are?"

She scoffed, "I doubt it. And I don't think I should go home looking like this." She gestured to her scars. Sherlock nodded,

"She has a point."

Mycroft rolled his eyes, "She needs to be taken home to her family."

"I'm eighteen! I can do what ever I want." she grumbled. Mycroft sighed,

"You're still considered as kidnapped. It would be best to get you home before someone finds out where you really were..."

Toni and Sherlock exchanged a look, "I suppose you're right..." She looked down. She didn't want people to think that Sherlock kidnapped her, but the last place she wanted to go was home. She liked it here!

"Can I just wait until I can get these stupid boots off?" She looked down at her legs. Oh look at that, her foot started to itch. Great.

Mycroft nodded, 'Seems fair. That's another week for you to stay here."
