Upon arriving at the kingdom of Renvela, they were greeted by a massive gate between two towering structures. In the middle lay the kingdom's emblem.

Si Eavour ang pumwesto sa gitna nito kasabay ng unti-unting pag-ilaw ng kanyang katawan.

"Eavour Nali-Scheur, controller of the pillar and a turned vampire. From the first family of the Nali Clan."

"Open thy path that has been sealed, 

For eternal beauty should never be concealed. 

Da Elx Gare."

The gate's circular symbol slowly rotated 180 degrees until the massive doors swung open.

They were welcomed by the King's men, including his right hand,Lucas.

"The King is waiting for you," anito habang yumuyukod sa kanila.

Ilang minuto pa silang naglakad hanggang sa tuluyan na silang makapasok sa napakalaking pintuan ng palasyo.

They stopped in their tracks as the man in his early forties slowly turned to face them. He was dressed in plain white slacks and a dress shirt, yet his entire aura exuded power and nobility.

He didn't need fancy clothes or a crown for them to recognize him as King.

"Grandeur," agad na bati ni Ophiluous, kasabay ng isang maliit na ngiti.

The four of them bowed their heads, but the King paid them no mind as his attention shifted to the young woman who was barely clinging to life.

Mula sa kanyang likuran, iniunat ni Ophiluous ang kamay at ipinatong ito sa noo ni Luna. Saglit siyang napatingin kay Lucas bago marahang tumango.

"Bring her to the room beside mine," utos niya.

Hindi na sila nakapalag nang marahang kunin ni Lucas si Luna mula kay Laidre. Another man removed all the apparatus connected to her as they marched toward the grand staircase.

"Please follow us," marahang sabi ni Lucas sa kanila, bahagyang tumigil ito sa pag-akyat.

Tahimik naman silang tumalima at sumunod, sa pangunguna ng hari.

"Allow yourselves to be comfortable," sabi ng hari bago marahang tinapik ang kama.

Maingat namang inihiga ni Lucas ang dalaga roon. The King softly lifted Luna's head upang malagyan ito ng unan. Nang matapos, umupo siya sa tabi, malapit sa dulo ng kama.

Pumikit siya, at kasabay ng kanyang pagdilat ay ang pagkumpas ng kanyang kamay. Unti-unting lumabas ang itim na usok mula sa iba't ibang bahagi ng katawan ni Luna.

He suddenly sighed and looked in their direction.

"You should prepare for the worst."

Grandeur tapped Laidre's shoulder upon remembering that in front of them was his favorite student.

Si Eavour naman ay lumapit kay Doreena at marahang hinaplos ang kanyang likod.

Hindi niya mapigilang matakot. As their academy's physician, responsibilidad niyang gamutin at iligtas sa kapahamakan ang lahat. But looking at her favorite student, habang buhay niyang pagsisisihan kung may nangyaring masama rito.
