Emma's POV

Surprisingly my parents bought the story that I was studying at Gwen's house on a Friday when and actually let me go. On the contrary we were at Jessica's party busy having a crap of a time. Gwen, Lucas and I were over at the bar side drowning our sorrows with alcohol. We weren't popular so we hardly knew anyone here and I was in no mood for dancing. Maybe it was because I had no rhythm or the fact that the dance floor couldn't contain my awesomeness. Yes I'll definitely go with the second one. My heart leaped out of my chest when I saw Hunter and his friends walk through the front door. He stunned me away with his good looks once again. The house was too crowded with people for him to notice me all the way over here. Excitement came over me just by seeing him here and I built up the courage to 'accidentally walk into him then apologise then pretend I didn't see him, start conversation and have a good time.' Shit, I was nervous.

"I'll be right back." I told Lucas and Gwen and walked towards Hunter, shoving past people. I immediately stopped when I saw him put his arm around Jessica. My heart sank at that very moment and I turned back around. There was no way that I was going to speak to him while he was socialising with the populars. I was not that confident. I returned back to Gwen and Lucas and wished this night to be over already.

After half an hour, I decided to call it quits. I wanted to go home. There was no cute guys that even spoke to me, never made a friend and I didn't see Hunter in a while.

"Guys I wanna go home." I frowned.

Gwen's face dropped like the price of the rand. "What? Why?"

"It's boring and besides I'm tired." I nagged

Lucas agreed with me and Gwen had no leg to stand on against the both of us. "Fine." She gave in and we walked towards the front door. We passed the tv room when a voice yelled my name. I turned around to find Hunter gesturing for me to come to him. I hesitated when I realised that everyone in the tv room was looking at me. Ethan, Tyler, Jade, Brooklyn, Jason, Kyle and Gunther were with Hunter. I've come to learn their names, since Gwen was obsessed with them.

I shyly shook my head but Gwen pinched my arm. "Ow!" I said to her.

Gwen whispered in my ear, "Lets go to him please."

I felt bad for her since she liked him and gave in even though I was scared to death to enter the room and be in their presence. Lucas and Gwen were right behind me and I was just glad that I wasn't alone.

"Hey, I didn't know you were gonna be here." Hunter smiled

"Yeah it was a last minute thing." I tried to play it cool.

"Who's this?" A deep voice said from behind me and I turned around to find one of the jocks, Jason asking. My cheeks flushed because I was nervous to answer.

"Oh, guys this is Emma." Hunter introduced.

"Hi I'm Jason." He smiled warmly which put me at ease. The rest of the them introduced themselves as well.

"Oh and this is Lucas and Gwen." I added, making sure that people knew their names as well otherwise it would have been awkward. Luckily, they all greeted them as well which probably made Gwen happy.

"I remember you, you helped me clean myself up after I threw up." Jade laughed as she remembered how we met.

"Yeah that's me, student by day, cleaner by night." I joked and they all laughed.

"You look familiar, aren't you the new girl?" Kyle asked and I was shocked that he even knew.

"Yes she is." A voice answered instead of me. I looked up to find Morgan smiling at me. "Anna was it?" She asked.
