(Two Days Later-on//Tuesday)
(At the DPSI)
Tray Ackerman may have suited for any normal Tuesday morning at the department, yet there was something sinister on his mind that day. When he stopped with a bin of normal-looking files and reports outside of a room, he craned to see if anyone was looking. Then he silently put a key in and went in like he was doing a certain errand of some sort.
He came to a storage for the documents. He made a quick move to stash the bin and took off a folder in particular, hiding the object beneath his suit and wanting nothing to do with any approaching employers within the hallways that led here to there.
Then he passed the department's logo into a room. The room opened up, revealing a large table made for multiple employers to sit at. Formal chairs aligned it, the room was first dark. Tray Ackerman noticed the light from outside the glass panels going all from one end of the room to the another.
He walked to the windows. A large arena type thing was set just outside. Stationary machines and robotic dinosaurs were put in. He wondered if he was going to get caught one way or another eventually.
He checked the time on his watch. The arrows read 6:00AM. Just when full shift kicked in. And his assistant was currently late, so that really put him on edge.
Like a random switch, Benjamin came from a smaller room. The fine, red-haired man actually had his foot against the door and in his hand was coffee and he wasn't yet dressed in his complete business attire. He noticed Tray Ackerman at the window and said to him, "Am I late for anything or did some bastards come early?"
Ackerman faced him. "Get back in that room!" he escorted Benjamin into the room of printers and scanners and plans. He took a seat, Benjamin took a slight sip out of the cup and made eye contact with him. "You said today was going to be....." he stopped to yawn himself awake, "be important and I showed up. What's the--"
"Deal?" said Tray. "I brought this folder."
Benjamin took a second glance as the folder contained something. "Now what in the world?"
Tray Ackerman showed a digital panel from in the folder. He switched to a model in particular relating to the department's current project. "Ben. Do you know just what this is?" he put a finger to the screen and recited, "do you?"
"Tray....that's our newest one yet!"
"I know--and it's exactly what's going to keep that Robin Prestley from revealing the department's assets!" Tray Ackerman said. "So, I have a totally different plan for this one--it's the point I wanted you up so early in the department."
Minutes ticked by as Tray demonstrated the model. "See just what I mean?"
"What the hell...?"
"Fine. I. want. Robin. Prestley. DEAD. And this is exactly how the department might help me on this one......"
