When I'm saved from the quarters of the raptor cages, I surveyed the trampled foliage and projectiles that scattered. I swell up with the same recognizable fear of dying when the same eerie whirr of the bionic rex sounds, scoping the rest of the forest. I slowly find myself looking at the machine's tracks. They headed out a hole in the building.
The man made a grab for my arm. I flinched when he got in my face and said behind his muffler, "Let's go for the roof top, how about we?"
"And risk a collapse?" I lashed, pulling away. "You think this is a 'we' situation?"
"I've heard a lot from you, so you can shut up!" He tugged at my collar before forcing me back. I shrugged off his soldier retort and stared with a defiant look in my eyes, strict.
He scoped a higher ledge caved down, some yards from our position and thought intently. His good eye gave a small twinkle.
"You listen. There's a ledge up there that we can get up, those clumps of vines looks sturdy, no? I'll have you go ahead just so I won't have you running off." He said. I was sluggish to agree.
I really hadn't thought of anything. We skirted up the vines, my hands bristling against the harsh strands and ivory. A cringe crept on me-my hands were to maneuver carefully if a thorn weren't to end up in my palm. Sounds of active squalls and shrieks and forestry being trumped by other prehistoric wildlife went around.
The ledge was in better shape. I looked on with appeal, the tops of trees were as pretty and sparse as ever. Perhaps my 'friend' Fredrick was out having all the fun for himself, being caught up in this jungle gym of all places with fearsome Pterosaurs on his tail, anxious to grasp him with nimbly talons. Even from here Sorna proved to have the same potential as I estimated for Nublar-an ancient place for amusement.
I turned around to see the creation stalking through the canopy. Then the massive shape lumbered from sight after cocking it's vision from one side.
"Uh-oh, big Rex." I began.
"Seen it." said my accompany. "I've heard a...more accurate name to it."
"Accurate?" I echoed.
He gave one curt nod, then strayed to another ledge and lowly told me to follow. He mentioned some antic Gallimimus babies. I watched with some curiosity as he surveyed the slope, did this stranger belong here?
