                                          (ROBIN PRESTLEY^^^)

Nothing would bring Robin Prestley back to what seemed like reality. Today was the day for quitting time. There was nothing to make her look at all the times when the department would put their hostages to numerous experiments of absolute misery when none of those poor animals deserved it.

In a flurry of tears, Prestley ripped her purse away from her father and stormed from the main building. Another man was just on her trail, and he was the one she despised of the most at that moment. Her boss--or more presumptively her ex-boss. She didn't want to see his stricken face just jabbing at her nerves of regret. She looked at her father instead. "DAD--I'M NOT COMING TO THIS DAMN PLACE EVER AGAIN, I JUST WANT TO LEAVE!"

"You need to calm down. Just what's wrong with you?" he said as they reached the car. He exchanged a look with the executive. "Is everything alright with Ackerman and you?"

Her boss came into view and she glared like the devil. Then she placed the palm of her hand to her blotched red cheek where her boss slapped the brown-haired women. "I hate that man's guts-and he can bet all the money he can that I'm ratting out on him."

"You listen here, Robin Prestley--" he said. "Your making a mistake leaving the department!"

"I DON'T NEED TO LISTEN TO YOU! ALL YOU ARE IS A GOD-AWFUL PYCOPATH, AND THOSE POOR ANIMALS WOULD BE THINKING NO DIFFERENT THAN I AM!"

Then Robin Prestley closed the car door when behind the wheel, a teary mess. Mr. Prestley was all too bewildered to find words, and he only climbed in the passenger seat. "Robin--I think I'm inclined to know why your crying like this!" he said.  "Your not fixing to leave now, are you?"

The man rushed to Robin's window but Robin wanted to end the argument. That was when her emotions became so sour that all she said after rolling down the window was, "Go to hell..."

Robin Prestley stepped on the pump, and the car sped down the dirt passage and soon through the entry way of the secret innovation department. It's enormous logo marked the entry gates, but Robin didn't care to give it a glance at. It was the last time the traumatized women would ever give a crap about the place. After that day in particular, she couldn't bring herself to say anything about the unfolded events. The whole story would only wait until the entire trip to Arlington in Washington, DC.
