Up in the clouds, a storm brewed visibly amongst the flying Pternodons. A clap of lightning charged the atmosphere and with it, the creatures sheltered deep into the canopy from the sky.
With the rain just coming, Robin was in stride with her one and only savior who was known as Fredrick whom saved his partner in crime from bleeding away. And though he took long strides in his walk, the women had adjusted to being all over the island gingerly. Fredrick stood sophisticating through the rain, standing mighty against the elements-Robin cold but happy to be stable.
In fact, there a gingerly strut to her as she folded both bandaged hands over her arms and hugged herself against the wind. The women remembered to think of the positive, and not dread the wraps around her hands. For all Robin knew, her bleeding must have subsided since their departure from the corridor.
"Where are we going?" wondered Robin, as the only demand Fredrick gave her was to 'come with me.'
"To the west of the island." Fredrick said, keeping a radar on the valley.
"Specifics?" I wanted to know.
"Somewhere secretive." He boyishly smiled, using that usual humor of his that only made me rather annoyed. Not only annoyed, but I felt there was something big to anticipate on our long walk. Here, on Sorna was where I learned that there's always something to investigate.
I rolled my eyes dauntingly. "Is that all you have to say, smart ass?"
"Maybe." he remarked. Just as I looked up with a pretend smile, his eyes big reflecting in mine. "Your all shivery, have my jacket."
"Your good." I brushed off his offer.
"Oh, please-I insist!" he replied with some charm.
Less than a minute more of walking, he took off the bulky thing of a coat and offered the clothing item to me gingerly, holding it in a way that meant he was sincere.
"Umm...thanks, by the way." I hated to disappoint the guy after the kind offering. We paused on a huge incline, where the breeze was most damp. The drift thrust my hair out all long and natural. The coat, not so much.
I tried to render the coat from the guy, but then again, life isn't easy with bandages.
"Oh!" cried Fredrick. "Here,"
He politely took it in his hands and slid the thing on me with a little effort, the coat was so bulky. But I didn't mind the extra weight, at least the fur was unique.
Me, being so usually jerky from this guy, blushed with a new kind of friendship. "Your too kind!"
Even with Fredrick all cold and exposed to the elements, he solely focused on me being comfortable on our way to this mysterious unit. I had an atrocious self-esteem for treating him undeservingly the days before. First, he sweeps me off my feet to bandage my hands, then he offers me all the warmth I could have.
It wasn't until we got to a stopping point at some trees when he stood in front and looked around the radius. He stepped a length away, having me stand back just as a precautionary. Assuming that he found something, he escorted me further into the grassland.
