I sat there looking at the Error confused.
"What do you mean by 'original AU?' I'm from there I guess, if that's the place you just took me from." He looked at me confused and outraged.
"WHaT?!" He shouted, anger flooding into his glitchy features.
"Yeah, I've been on the surface through all the resets. I normally died a few days ago in other timelines, but I decided to live in this one, or rather the one I was just in." I looked around lazily and noticed how the blue strings laced the ceiling, holding puppets in their grips. "What's with the puppets that look like Sans?"
He looked at the puppets and then back at me shocked.
"WaIT. YoU cAlLEd tHEm pUpPEtS?" He looked at me shocked.
"Yeah. Why, they're not dolls, are they? I mean, it makes sense since you do give off the vibe of a-" I smirked and he looked at me with wide eye sockets.
"Don't you dare." He glared at me as I smirked deviously.
"Puppet master~" I chuckled as he growled angrily and let out a glitches computer screech. The word 'ERROR' filled his eye sockets as he screamed. I only laughed harder, surprising myself as I snorted.
He stopped screeching and stared at me shocked again. I covered my mouth with a hand, pulling against the strong grip of the strings. He looked at me shocked a little longer before his face turned completely blue. It only made me laugh again as I clutched my stomach. Error looked away and I stopped laughing.
"Well, at least you know my laugh is real now." I chuckled as I started to calm down. He looked back at me as I chuckled lightly. His eye sockets were empty.
"WhY aRE yOu sO dIffERenT? YoU'Re sO kInD..." He looked down with dried and released me from the strings.
"Heh, the scarred and broken tend to be the kindest. But the most cold hearted are even kinder." I spoke in a monotonous voice as I rumbled my wrists. He seemed to jump back and summon charcoal colored bones for defence.
"B-bUT yOu jUSt sAiD yOUr lAuGH wAS ReaL! YOu cAn'T Be EViL, rIGhT?!" He seemed to panic but I only froze and stared at the charcoal bones in horror.
"P-Please..... Don't hurt me..." Small tears welled up in the corners of my eyes as my terrified expression seemed to shock him. He noticed I was talking about the bones and they dissipated.
"HEy, aRe yOU OkaY?" He asked as I stared off into space. I snapped out of it and rubbed my eyes hard, trying to get rid of the tears.
"O-Oh my, I'm sorry. I just have a bad experience with bone attacks. Hell, I have scars!" I shook my head and trembled. He made a 'oh' noise and rubbed the back of his neck.
"SoRRy." He mumbled, but it was clear enough for me to hear. Suddenly I remembered Sans.
"Oh shit. Sans is going to be so worried when he doesn't find me at home! He might start looking for me and get injured by mean people! Please take me back to my AU Error, I promise to come back. Just give me something to communicate to you with." I looked at him begging, making him sweat nervously.
"FiNe. BUt iF I nEeD YOu thEn YOu hAvE tO cOMe WitH mE." He looked at me still nervous.
"Okay!" I cheered happily.
"HErE." He handed me a piece of paper and opened another hole, pushing me back into the house using his strings.
"Thank you, Error!" I smiled and waved before looking at the paper. It was a code. Under the code it said that if I wanted to communicate with Error that I had to say the code out loud.
The hole closed and I sat on the couch, staring at the ceiling while I thought of what had just happened. I bonded with an outcode. I found a place that seemed like it belonged to multiple people. Sans is still shopping with the others. I took off the cracked mask and put on the surgical mask, setting the cracked one on the table. My wrists stung along with my ankles as faint red marks appeared from when the cold wires were wrapped around my limbs.
The door opened and I was greeted by shouting.
"COME HELP BRING GROCERIES, LOSER!"
