I was awoken by someone shaking me. As I faded in and out of consciousness I recognised Papyrus' figure as he shook me. He seemed to be saying something but everything was white noise. Coughing lightly from the violent shaking, I sat up.
"C-Calm down Papyrus, I can barely understand you." I rubbed my eyes tiredly and looked at the worried skeleton.
"(Y/n), WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING ON THE COUCH? IT'S NOT GOOD FOR YOUR BACK." Papyrus scolded as I looked at my lap guiltily.
"Sorry Paps, it was just for tonight." I muttered.
"Alright. Just try to keep yourself healthy human, we all really care about you." He said softly before going to the kitchen.
I slowly began to break down and cry silently into a pillow. My body shook with fear and stress. I scratched at my arms through my sleeves, feeling slight burns and my skin stretching a bit. Small scratches appearing on the back of my fore arms. I squeezed the pillow tightly and hugged it as I heard a door open and close. I furiously wiped away my tears as I head steps heading down the stairs.
"(Y/n), are you okay? What are you doing?" I heard Mettaton's robotic voice. I gasped softly and looked at my lap, my sleeves damp with tears and blood. The blood looked like tear marks that would stain.
"N-Nothing Metta, I'm fine." I lied smoothly. I heard him approaching me and began to shake.
"What's wrong, you're eyes are puffy and red." He said, pulling my chin up for closer inspection. I swatted away his hand.
"Sans isn't happy with me." I muttered, looking back down at my lap.
"Why?" Mettaton sat next to me, rubbing my back.
"He wants me to break a promise I made to a friend." I sighed.
"What was that promise?" Mettaton continued to rub my back in a soothing way.
"I promised my friend I wouldn't tell anyone who he was or what he looked like. It was an unspoken promise between us." I explained, shaking my head.
"Well, just tell him that you can't break it. It will help." Mettaton got up and went to the kitchen, most likely to talk to Papyrus.
I got up and shivered, feeling a gaze staring at me. I turned to see Ink looking at me with a glare through a small portal. I walked over to the portal, surprising Ink.
"Quit glaring at me." I looked up and hissed at him through small tears. "I haven't done anything to you."
"Yes you have, you aren't giving us Error's location. We need to stop him." Ink huffed, earning a deep growl from me.
"I'm not telling you. Now go before you get caught by someone like Papyrus or Mettaton." I warned, not wanting him here.
"Everyone in this house knows who I am." He said, making the portal larger and walking through, closing it behind him.
I gasped in worry and ran to the stairs, going up them quickly with Ink on my tail. I cried out when I crashed into a wall, trying to cushion the hit with my arms, forgetting about my injuries. I opened Sans' door quickly and quietly shut it behind me. I locked it, only for Ink to start banging on it. I cried loudly as I shook violently, frightful of what Ink would do to me if he got through the door. I gasped and squealed as someone grabbed me from behind, stopping when I noticed it was Sans. Ink continued to bang on the door violently as Sans' eye glowed a vibrant blue that made me cry even more. I pushed away from Sans and ran to the closet, locking the closet door as I cried. Sans tried to get me but went to his door and I heard them talking while I cried.
"Ink? Why are you banging on my door so violently, you made me think you were Nightmare for a second." Sans sighed in relief and Ink growled.
"I'm looking for (Y/n), she ran in her." Ink told sans I tried to say the code but I couldn't over the overwhelming fear causing me to want to puke. I changed into my clothes that were in there.
"Why?" Sans started to get defensive.
"She knows Error's location and refuses to give it to me." Ink gave me away as I tried to stifle my cries. I looked at my fore arms and noticed I was bleeding through the bandages. Suddenly there was banging on the closet door, making me scream and cry out of fear.
"Leave me alone! I don't want this!" I shouted through sobs and I could hear them hesitate but continue to bang on the door. I muttered the code quickly and it opened, causing Error to fall into the closet. I hugged him tightly and cried as he glitches slightly.
"H-Help me..." I muttered, feeling myself slipping from consciousness. I struggled to stay awake.
"Wh-What's wrong? Why are people banging on the door (Y/n)?" Error asked, as the banging increased and Sans started to screech desperately for me to unlock the door.
"They want you're location b-but..." I gripped onto his hoodie and my sleeves slid down to reveal the crimson red and dripping bandages. His eye sockets widened and he pulled me through the portal, pulling my sleeves to cover the bandages. I remember Sans and Ink picking the lock as Error closes the portal while glaring at the two.
"You shouldn't have hurt her." Error muttered before the portal closed, Sans and Ink shouting and my body falling into a relaxed and limp state of me passing out.
