Sam was thrown at the feet of the master by the brute. Her head facing the ground and his hands still secured behind her back, she refused to look up at the master. She could feel his piercing gaze stabbing into her, but she refused to allow him to know anything about him. She closed her eyes in concentration, taking the information the master got as he got it from her head.
"Who are you?" He said, not letting up with his search for information. She didn't respond. She spent years hiding Emma's and her own identity from him, she wasn't about to give it up. "Answer me." She ignored him until she felt his mental attack let up, and his boot connect with her face. She fell to her side, her cheek throbbing, but still remained silent. "You are the second person I've seen that I can not read, both in the same year. That can be no coincidence. Whoever you are, you are obviously a controller if you are here. I don't know how you got here, but know that you will not be getting out of here until I trust you. I say what goes on down here, and you will not change that, if that is your plans. You will be kept in an inescapable prison until I can get into that head of yours."
He looked up and nodded to Bruce who lifted her again. "Oh, and if you know who is helping you and keeping me from being able to read you, I'd give up that information pretty quick if I were you. Cause it's not gonna be so easy later on."
Bruce stood there, Sam's feet dangling a few inches off the ground. "Uh...where are we keeping her?" The master huffed and pointed to the opposite side of his chambers.
"Grimm used to be the only one allowed to open that or even know where it was." What he pointed to was a bare wall. Nothing was different about it from any other wall. "But I guess it's time to reopen it considering the circumstances. Marshal, can you?"
Marshall stepped forward and waved his hand at the wall. It folded up on itself, like a page being turned in a book turned weirdly. A small stone room was revealed. It was to small to keep more than one average sized person in it. Bruce pushed Sam into the small space and the metal handcuffs fell into the ground beneath her. "I'll be in touch" the master said as Marshal did the same motion as before in reverse and the wall folded down.
Sam was left in a dark room with no escape. She had just enough room to curl up and close her eyes.

Training had never seemed so productive and easy after they learned about Silus's power. He would slow time down for everyone which gave them triple the amount of time compared to what they had before. The team was doing amazing. They were days away from being ready to face the mountain and rescue Sam, and Noah was looking forward to it. Sam and him had only talked one more time since the first night, but they planned on connecting tonight as well. It all seemed to be falling into place. But Noah should've known that it wouldn't stay that way for long.
That night he laid down to allow David to throw him into Sam's dream. He could see the dream before he even closed his eyes. He was in Wade's room, only the room was bare. Nothing was the same about it except the color of the walls and the position of the windows. He looked around confused until he heard Sam's voice shouting.
He looked out the window and saw her in the street yelling for him. He smiled and opened the window. He jumped out and glided down. As he got closer he could see that she was scared and his grin vanished.
"What happened?"
Sam told him everything. What she saw the new team do, what they were capable of, how she had gotten caught, and how she didn't know how long she would be able to hold up against the master one v one.
"We'll save you. We'll be there. We're ready, I know we are." Sam wasn't just his mission anymore, she was a damsel in distress. The perfect scenario for him to get her to be interested in him. That, and of course, the fact that she was suffering in a mountain was completely horrible.
