Will's team stood in a sea of dead bodies. Each warrior was covered with blood from head to toe, but the only one with serious injuries was Andrew and they were healing quickly. "That was more people than could have possibly lived in this city." Richie stated.
Will knew it was true. After he had killed hundreds of people he had knew that this city couldn't hold that many people. Where did they all come from? If they had called for help, why didn't they call for the army or something? There was to many questions and not enough answers. But Will knew one thing, they were stronger than they ever had been before, but he still didn't know if it was enough. It had to be though, he knew it did. "It's time."
They all looked at him in confusion. "We need to go find Noah, and take him down."
...
The master took days to unleash all ten of their powers. He had to go slower, which made the pain for them last longer but if he made it to intense they could kill him. It took days, but he had done it. Each of them knew their limits and their strengths now. The master could feel the pure power radiating from the room. So much raw greatness coming off of these ten soldiers. They would be the most powerful he had ever created, that he wasn't doubting for a second.
"Now you train" He announced and they all turned to him.
"What do you mean, 'train'?" A young man said with an angry tone.
"I have made the mistake of throwing a team not trained at Noah. I will not make this mistake again. You will train as a team and become the strongest."
"We don't need..." The master waved his arm through the air and the boy looked around, confused. The others looked over to him and he looked back, fear building inside him. He screamed and the master waved his hand again. The scream subsided and the boy looked confused at the other's fearful expressions that were guided towards him.
"If you refuse to listen, the same will happen to the rest of you. You will listen to me, and you will defeat Noah. I will not only take your abilities away from you, I will take who you are away from you."
They all nodded, standing military style in a circle around the master. He chuckled, "Let us begin."
...
The morning after the incident with Ben seemed to go on forever. Nobody had seemed to realize what was happening to him, only that he had stopped screaming. Noah took him aside the next day and talked to him. He had no idea either but Noah began to form a prediction in his mind to what was going on.
"He's a recruiter." He whispered to Emma.
"He's what? No. He can't be."
"He is, though. Think about it: he summoned a sword when he was in a time of great distress, all of his physical injuries he had when we showed up yesterday are gone, and during my conversation with him, he knew the answers to my questions before I got them out. He's a recruiter."
Emma shook her head. "We'll see, but for now we should just focus on the controllers. We don't even know what half of them can do yet."
"Half? We only know one of them."
"Actually..." She looked over to David who was joking around with Raven and Ben.
Noah's eyes grew wide. "What is he? What can he do? How did you find out?"
"He's a controller of dreams. He's kind useful I guess." She looked a little disappointed.
"What do you mean by that?"
