Mark had been traveling since he decided he wasn't going to quit trying to stop Noah. He went from town to town, eating and drinking only what he absolutely needed and hitching rides from anyone that was willing. Even with they layers of dirt and the smell that radiated from him, he still stood as if he was the most important man in the room. After two days of no food or drink, he sat down in a cafe, ordering a cup of water and a bagel. People turned to look at him is disgust but he did not return their glances. Instead, he watched the television that hung in the corner of the ceiling. It was showing a news caster explaining recent events.
...after recent events, it can only be assumed that a massive natural disaster has wiped out the city of Silverton, Colorado. Reports say all volunteers that were sent to help their family or friends have not responded since leaving for the town almost a week ago. Our action news-copter was on scene this morning. A video of the destroyed city came on the screen. Fires raged and trees had grown in the strangest of places. As you can see from the footage, some attack from nature has plagued the city. Trees that appear to be hundred of years old have appeared over night. There is no real explanation for all of this happening, but somehow it has. They cut the footage and went back to the news caster. In other news, hundreds of people have gone missing. We have no reason to believe that the natural disaster from Colorado has anything to do with this, because it has been nation and possibly, world wide. Appearing to just vanish into thin air, police are asking everyone to go to their local town office or police department and obtain a flier with the pictures and names of local and statewide missing men and women...
Nobody in the cafe thought twice about what the news caster said, most weren't even listening. But Mark knew what it meant. The world had no control. It was on the edge of chaos and nobody really knew it. Mark had to do something. He spent the last of his spare change on the bagel and water and left with them in his hand.

The master stood on the top of the mountain, looking down at the two sides of the upcoming training fight. On one side, he had his new team, on the other he had three controllers of animals. One controlled the bear, another the mountain cat, and the third controlled wolves. Dozens of each of these animals stood with their controllers at the ready.
"Begin!" The master demanded. All the animals charged, their controllers concentrating on making them stronger and faster, while also bringing more into the fight. The master's team was prepared though. They split into three groups. Bruce, controller of muscle ran directly at the group of bears charging them. Aaron, controller of iron, was behind him in metal armor with a iron sword, slowing down the bears that came in to attack. Ethan, controller of water was launched over the bears, occupied with his team mates. Ethan went directly for the controller, interrupting the controller's concentration and the flow of bears pouring in.
Milo, controller of gravity, raised the mountain cats into the air with ease, allowing Katey, controller of emotion, Antonio, controller of vibrations, and Ashley, controller of gasses to approach the controller of the mountain cats with ease and take him down.
Peter, controller of sound, and Wallace, controller of magnetism, fought off the wolves while Marshal, controller of matter, ran to the controller to take him down. The entire encounter took moments to complete and ended with each animal controller having a blade at their throat.
The master looked down at them and they looked back up at him. He nodded his head once and turned away. Blood covered the swords and the controllers of animals fell to the ground, motionless. The team walked up the mountain to re-entered their tomb.
...
Sam was watching the whole encounter from the entrance to the mountain. She could barely see the fight below, but she knew that the master had called in three animal controllers from the nature base. Sam watched as the team won against the experienced fighters, and then watched as the master turned his back as a command to kill them.
Escaping back into her hiding place in the mountain, she watched as the ten walked past and into the master's chambers. She couldn't believe it. The master was not only killing his own men, but also those that he asked for help. He was out of control.
Sam knew they needed to speed up the plan. She needed to get out of their, but they also needed to stop the master and defeat this team. There was no other way. She had to inform Noah. Luckily she was planning on meeting him in her dreams that night. She didn't know what to think of Noah. He seemed a little strange, but at the same time really confident.
But she didn't have time to think about those things. She stepped out of her hiding place and planned on walking closer to the master's door. Instead, she ran directly into a controller of earth. He was one of the guardians of the mountain and he seemed very surprised to see a little girl he didn't recognize walking around the base. A stone sword jumped from the ground and the controller grabbed it out of the air.
Out of instinct, Sam reached and plucked at the air like she was grabbing an apple out of a tree. Ducking back into her hiding place, the guard looked confused, examining the sword he had summoned as if he didn't remember summoning it. He shrugged it off and dropped it, allowing it to meld with the ground.
As soon as he was gone, Sam let out a breath. That was too close. She poked her head out of her hiding spot and found the ten warriors looking back at her. She tried duck back in but the stones rolled away, leaving her with no place to hide.
"What have we got here?" Aaron said as iron flew out of the ground and shaped around his body. "I don't think we keep stowaways, right guys?"
"Stowaways are on boats you idiot." Bruce said as he grew twice his size and grabbed Sam by the arm. He lifted her up and iron handcuffs formed around her wrists.
"Just bring her to the master, he'll know what to do with her." Bruce stepped in front of everyone and walked towards the master's chambers, Sam completely helpless and being dragged behind him.
