Water

=•Sam's POV•=

I felt Brad's shoulder bash against my back, then Dan's hand releasing my arm allowing my body to free fall off the rock and into the water bellow. My body went numb as I felt the water swallow my body...

=•Colby's POV•=

I dived after Sam. My body hit the water and I fell under, but I quickly got to the surface. "SAM!" I exclaimed, I heard Brad and company laughing as their voices disappeared.

I found Sam's body sinking beneath me.

I panicked, took a deep breath in and dived down towards him. My hand reached out and grasps his shirt. I pull him towards me and wrap my arm around his waist.

I looked up to the surface and the moving water above made my head dizzy.

I need air, that I couldn't get.

I turned my head and looked around, my vision was becoming blurry. I started swimming, pushing towards what looked like some sort of cave...

I black out right before I made it to the cave.

I'm sorry Sam....

Then they died and became mer angles in heaven !

=• Sam's POV•=

I took a deep breath in. Water filled my lungs. Then panic filled my mind.

I was floating in the middle of a cave, I started frantically splashing with my arms, bu when my right arm hit something that wasn't water. My head snapped to the side as I saw the guy who sat beside me on the bus floating beside me. I didn't have time to think of his name before I started to realize I needed to get out of the water our else I will sink and drown. So Instead of just splashing, I started to do something more like a dying doggy on steroids doggie paddle towards the ledge on the side of the cave.
I nervously pulled myself out of the water and rocked back and forth as I watched his body float in the water.

I need to save him...

My vision became blurry with tears.
It surprised me when a blue of pink enters my vision.
I wiped my eyes but it was gone, and Colby was beside the edge now...
I crawled towards the edge where I sat on my knees and made myself stable, hoping I wouldn't fall in.
I hoisted Colby's unconscious body from the water and laid him down beside me where I collapsed on the ground.
"Colby please wake up" I beg.
Then suddenly Colby's eyes burst open. Showing me their deep blue that I could get lost in.
He snapped up right. "W-What happened?" He lightly stutters.

"We surfaced in here and you, I pulled you out" I said as my voice trails off. "but I Thought you had a fear of... Thank you" he came and hugged me.

We laid on the cave floor in silence for a good while before Colby spoke up.
"are you okay... I'm so sorry about Brad, they're such jerks" Colby says as he sits up. "then why do you hang out with them?" I ask him curiously.
"You wouldn't believe how much he begged me to hang out with him, I mean they're kinda nice. But not for me" Colby informs me as he shares his head.

"How do we get out of here?" I ask in wonder. "your guess is as good as mine" Colby says sarcastically.
My heart began beating faster as I realized that the only why in and out might be the pool of water.

Colby, now standing was looking over at the back of the cave that I didn't really get a good look at yet. But there seemed to be some tunnel. That Colby stood in front of.

"think this is the way out?" Colby asks me.

I don't answer ut I slowly get up, my hands still shaking but I stand beside cOLBY AND LET HIM TAKE A FEW STEPS INTo (opps caps) the tunnel.

We continued through the tunnel until it opened up into a bigger area where there was a smaller tunnel that went up. "Think that leads to the surface?" I ask him in a shaky voice. 

Colby nods before Attempting to crawl up the tunnel but slid back down beside me.

"Well Shit" Colby swore as he stood back up beside me. 

"What if you did a running start?" I ask him curiously. Colby shrugs and backs up in the area then runs up into the tunnel and actually makes it to the top. he reaches his hand up and grabs the surface and pulls himself out. 

As I back up to start running I see something pink behind me, I SNAPPED M HEAD TO TURN BESIDE ME (DANG CAPS AGAin) just in time to see the pink thing jump into the pool pf water, I took a step towards the tunnels leading back to the pool when Colby called down. "SAM! Come one! Need help?" He shouts down to me. I sigh then start a run towards the tunnle and get half way up before I start to slide down. 

"Col...." I started before a hand grabs my arm, I regain my balance and get out of the hole. 

"Thanks Colby" I said as I took a deep breath in. 

"Now where are we?" I ask him.

I sighed as I realized we were int he middle of the forest beside the beach. "how long was that frickin tunnel?" I ask as I motion towards the hole we just climbed out of. "Let's try that way" i suggest as Colby shrugs. "I don't have anywhere to be, so sure" He says as he leads the way. 

I follow beside him. "So your new?" He asks me. "Is it that obvious?" I lightly blush. "yeah, it is.... Brad and company always bug the new kids and see if their worthy of his group, they're in their last year here so they want new members to carry on their legacies" Sam informs me. I nod. "I'd do something like that" I mumble to myself. 

"So.... are you really considering joining them?" Sam asks me cautiously. "No... trust me, I'm not that person, not anymore" I say as my voice trails off. "Good, cause you seem cool, and I wouldn't want you turning into.... them" Sam says to me. We walked in silence for a while. 

"Maybe.... when we get to the beach we can pack up and head tot he other side of the beach, to get away from Brad?" I tell Sam as he nods in agreement. "good idea, I ave some friend that might let us join the, if you don't mind" Sam says to me. I smile, happy that he wants me to join his group of friends. "Aw thanks buddy" I smiled as I gave him a playful punch on the shoulder.
