"Storm? What storm? What do you mean?" I asked El who was standing cautiously in front of the table. She looks quickly around the room then picks up the piece again and hands it to Mike.
"Wait this is the thestlehydra, something is out there that is worse than the demogorgan?" Mike shouted in panic and looked around the room and the others who were in as much shock as he was.
"Hold on, hold on." I stopped them, "How is the demogorgan controlling Will if we killed it?" I asked in utter confusion, "You, Nancy and Steve didn't kill it, hasn't anybody told you?" Lucas spoke slowly, emphasising his words. "Told me what?"
"That it came to the school, that it killed Dr Brenner, that El closed the gate and used her powers to force it back to the upside down?" Lucas stated a matter of factly.
"But Nancy and I, we worked out that it was only going a short distance around the woods, from the lab, to my house and the tree. Why would it go all the way to the school?" I questioned, intrigued by the monsters motives.
"Well, you said that's it's attracted to blood right?" Mike began slowly, looking at me for assurance, I nodded in response.
"Well when the bad men came after us El made them bleed out, she haven't done that before, she had just um-" "Snapped their necks or sent their car flying!" Dustin interrupted, "Yeah, El were you trying to draw the monster to the school?" He rushed out and looked at her with longing and confused eyes.
She looked down then looked deep into his eyes, "I wanted to protect you all, I had to get rid of it." She looked down again. Mike walked swiftly over to her and hugged her tightly, "I'm sorry I couldn't kill it." She sniffed, "Hey, it's okay, we can defeat it, together." He gave a reassuring smile and looked around at all of us, "and whatever is coming, we can defeat it together." He finished.
"Okay then, lets try and figure out what the thestlehydra has to do with all of this." Dustin spoke up and began flicking through the pages of the handbook. "Mike, why are you missing the thestlehydra page? The one page we need right now?" Dustin had an ounce of panic in his voice. Mike looked as if he was trying to wrack his brain, "It was there in the last campaign wasn't it?" He asked flustered, flipping through the book himself. "No, it wasn't! Remember when the bad men came and we're going through all the stuff, taking boxes." He waited for some response, the boys just looked at him with dumbfounded expressions,
"Oh my gosh, really guys?" Lucas face palmed and shook his head, "They damaged the book, and it looks like it was on purpose." Dustin nodded, "Like they knew what was coming!" He shouted, "Exactly." Lucas replied simply.

"You wanna know about the thestlehydra?" The quiet girl with fiery red hair spoke up and jumped up from the couch, walking quickly over to the table.
"You know dungeons and dragons?" Dustin asked in awe. "Duh!" She smiled then furrowed her eyebrows trying to think, "From what I can remember the thestlehydra is as tall as the clouds, it's weakness is it's neck, or necks because they are exposed. They can be controlled and tamed by superior creatures and beings and they are known to mess with the weather patterns because of the electricity in their bodies, like electric eels." She finished looking up to see the boys staring at her with their mouths gaping in sheer astonishment. "I may or may not have memorised most of the handbook." She laughed.
It took a while for the boys to snap out of their daze while I tried to figure out what was going on. "So that's where the storm came from." I spoke up, "I guess so." The girl replied simply.
"And you said that it can be controlled by superior beings?" Mike asked writing down some notes "Yeah, like wizards and stuff but I don't think anyone would have enough power to control one if one were to show up." She laughed again but everyone else was dead serious and looked at Eleven who looked flustered. "No, even with Elevens awesome powers I don't think she would." Everyone looked back to her with confusion, "What I mean is that it would only be commanded or tamed by something or someone more evil than itself." She explained.
"Someone like Will." Eve spoke up out of nowhere. "He is powerful, believe me, what I saw in him, when he attacked me, I believe is more powerful than any other creature."
All of a sudden the radio crackled to life "Well folks it looks like what was going to be a sunny week has turned pretty dark and gloomy! On Sunday there looks to be large storm cell coming in from the south so make sure you have an umbrella handy!" Then it went silent again.
"That means that the, that, that it's coming on Sunday! That's in three days!" Dustin shouted, "Well we better be ready." I said firmly.
