The Artificial Gem (S.U Fanfiction)

"So Faux, what brought you to Earth? Steven asked me with my arm in his hands slowing me down. I thought about what Blue Diamond told be.

"What brought me?" He nodded his head. "Well, I was first created by Yellow Diamond to destroy something called a Quartz and any gem that is not with the home world, which would be any gems on this Earth I guess. But then Blue Diamond actually told me to help protect the planet that once belonged to her sister, I think. Pink Diamond. I went with Blue Diamond not knowing squat about Yellow Diamond. So I was sent down here with Blue Pearl and, here I am!" I started to get confused. "Wait, where is blue Pearl?" Right then something shiny and blue caught my eye. I walked over to look, bunches of pearl shards were buried inside the sand. I felt my heart drop a little bit.

"Oh no." I whispered in worried to myself. I picked up each shard in a panic. I turned around to Steven, scared. "CAN YOU LICK IT OR SOMETHING?"

"I-I've never tried on a shattered gem, b-but I can try." He took was the shards and liked them all at the same time, nothing happened. "Sorry about that, I can't do anything else." He made a bubble around it. "Sorry about your friend."

"I-it's fine." I replied. I grabbed the shards from his hand and popped the bubble, I placed them in the pocket on my pants. "I-I don't even know how to reach Blue Diamond."

"Well, follow me for now, you can met the other gems!" I looked at Steven.

"Other gems?" I asked.

"Yeah like me and you!"

"You're a gem?" I almost screamed at the top of my lugs. He pulled up his shirt to reveal a pink gem where his bellybutton should be.

"I'm the son of Rose Quartz, please don't destroy me!" He begged.

" I wouldn't hurt a fly!" I reassured him. He giggled at me and we started walking.

After a few minutes of walking, we reached a house that looked like a person, some of her hands from six arms were missing and a light house was on top of the hill it was built on, in two of her hands, there was a small house, I guess that's where he lives!

"This is it!" He said.

"Whoa..." I said about speachless. We started walking up the stairs, and into the door.

Standing there was a huge pink lion, staring deep into my eyes, I started to fill with fear.

"It's ok, he won't hurt you, just pet him." Steven grabbed my hand after he said that and laied it on the lion's nose. It was soft like silk.

"You have very nice fur Mr. Lion!" I cheered. Steven giggled at my comment. The lion started to purr lightly.

"Follow me, Pearl and Connie are training right now, wanna watch?" I nodded my head in agreement. He pulled me over to some kind of pad on the ground. "Watch this!" He moved his arms and before I knew it, we were some place different. When the light around us started to fade, I saw two girls with swords. They looked like they were having fun. The taller one turned around to see Steven and me.

"Oh hey Steven! Nice for you to-" she started to pause her speaking when she looked at the gem that had been built into my chest. "Steven, who is this?" She yelled as she took her sword and pointing it at my gem.

"Pearl its ok! This if Faux Diamond, she's an artificial gem! She used to be human! She said she wouldn't hurt a fly!"

"It's true I wouldn't! I don't even have most of my memory!" He sword lowered to the grow.

"You used to be human?" She asked. "But, how does a human turn into a gem?"

"Made into." I responded. "Yellow Diamond implanted this stone in me and created me to, well, destroy all of you, but I woke up to blue diamond and-"

"She told her to protect the planet that once belonged to Pink Diamond." Steven finished.

"Yeah." I replied. "So, here I am!"

"Whoa!" I heard the other girl shout. "That's new!"

"Isn't she lucky that she got turned into a gem?" Steven cheered.

"Not really, I was stuck in a zoo for years, I don't have any of my memory before what Blue DIamond told me, and it kinda hurts sometimes so, no, I'm not so lucky." I replied. His face turned from happy to sad and scared.

"Huh, never thought about it that way, sorry Faux."

"It's fine, you just met me how were you supposed to know?" I giggled. Everyone giggled back at me.

"So, Faux?" Pearl asked, I nodded. "How much can you remember about what Blue DIamond told you?"

"Oh I can remember all of that! Just nothing before I woke up!" I replied. "But from the way she talked to me, she felt really scared for this planet here called Earth, I think Yellow Diamonds gonna find out about what Blue Diamond tole me and I'm starting to get scared! It's bad enough Blue Pearl was shattered in the ship crash!" I started to cry a little, taking the shards of blue pearl back from out of my pocket. Pearl's eyes looked very shocked. "She was driving the ship and something hit us, I was passed out till we hit the ground!"

"You probably got poofed." Pearl told me. "I don't think you wouldn't of just passed out from a crash like that.

"Poof, doesn't that involve some pink mustache guy or something?" I asked, they all looked at me confused. "Never mind, just, tell me what I can do to help you!" Pearl smiled at my request.

"Finally a homeworld gem that actually wants to help us!" Pearl smiled.

Out of no where a growl covered the area as the ground shook, a big, mean bug like charter towered above us. I paniced and threw my arms out and covered my eyes, I was shaking in fear, till I heard someone scream.

"FAUX YOU SAVED US!" The other girl that was with us cheered, I had almost forgotten she was there.

"Connie's right! You did save us! Look!" I saw him point to where that monster was standing, but it wasn't there anymore. Did I just kill something? I ran over as quick as I could to the place where it was standing, right there was a green gem and a sharp edged blue and silver star like thing. I picked up the star to find out what it was. Did I make this?

"Oh my stars! You have a weapon! I didn't think you would have powers!" Pearl screamed in joy. I questioned what she said and placed the star thing close to the diamond in my chest, it glowed and disappeared.

"Whoa." I thought to myself. Steven ran over and placed the gem in a bubble like thing, then tapped it and it went away.

"That is a centibeetle, that's one of the many creatures you will face on the battle field." Pearl told me. "We should start training right away!"

"Yeah let's go!" Connie yelled pulling me. Pearl made a target from some halogram and fixed my stance.

"Aim right at it." Pearl told me. So I did as she said, I closed my eyes, and slung my arm foward.

"Level one complete!" The target said.

"Yeah there you go Faux!" Steven screamed. Pearl looked at me and smiled.

"There's just a few things you need to remember while on the battle field."

"What's that Pearl?" I asked.

"First, keep your stance wide, but not uncomfortable." He moved me to make it the way it should. "Second, keep your focus on what you're doing, you are a new gem, you could mess up if you don't focus and believe in yourself." She smiled and gave me a wink. "And third, you should think of someone to fight for in any battle, but when you fight for someone, you have to be prepared to die!"

"What!" I screamed.

"Not that you with die." She replied. I frowned and thought for a second.

I don't have anyone to fight for...
