Alex put Maria down on her bed.
"Give me first aid box." Command Alex towards Bruno.
"Let me get some cold water." Said Alice while she run out of the room leaving them. Alex looks at Maria and says,
"How did he get you into his suite when yesterday you were ready to bash him up?"
"He said that he needs my help so I enter his suite and then he tires me up. I did put up a fight but he said he let me go once he finishes with the game."
"And you let him? Do you know how worry I am!" said Alex loudly. Both of them look at each other, he was scare when she was gone only for a short time he still does could not shake it if he does not know where she was. He never felt it before, he never get scare , never sweat that badly and never felt his heart stop. Alex turn around and wanted to walk out of the room when Maria says,
"I'm sorry to have scared you and you have to carry me."
"Next time don't go far away from me. The next you do, I will kill you myself. "said Alex while he walk out leaving Maria speechless and again he felt that heart beat again for the second time.
"No Maria ... no.... not him." said Maria to herself.
The next day, Bruno carries their bags to the car and all of them went in the car while Bruno drives them back to the resort lobby.
"You guys stay here, let me make some payment and we'll be on our way back." Said Alex. Bruno and Alice nod their head while Maria says,
"Can I please see Link please?"
"Link whose link?" said Alex.
"My horse!!! I want to say good bye to him before I go." said Maria.
"No... you sprain your feet and if you walk around, it will get worse. Who is going to cook for me if you can't walk? So NO...Alice make sure she does not go out." Said Alex while he got out of walk out of the car and into to the reception to make payment for the suites room.
"Alice I really want..." before Maria can say anything Alice turn around and says,
"NO...he said no. "
"Just for a while, I said goodbye and I come back even before he know it." said Maria. Before Alice can say anything else, Maria open and door and quickly run out of the car to Link shack.
After paying the bill which Alex was glad that it was not so much walk back to the car. He felt bad that he told Maria that he can't leave the car to see her horse, after what happen yesterday he want to make her feel better. Alex open the door from the back seat where Maria sat and when he open the door he was surprise not to see Maria was not in the car.
"I'm sorry but..." before Alice can finish.
"I'm knows Alice....huh...stubborn girl. Wait for me here I'll get her." said Alex while he close the door and walk to the horse shack.
Maria was standing at Link shack and was hugging him.
"Why can't you listen to me?" said Alex. Maria turn around and saw Alex walk walking towards her.
"You know I'm stubborn but still don't allow me to say good bye to Link. That your fault." Said Maria while she turn back to Link.
"What if something happen to your feet?"
"It's fine anyway I can't feel a thing." Said Maria again this time Alex stood very close to her and says,
"Even if you can't feel the pain does not mean it does not get any worse. " Maria looks at Alex and breathes out and says,
"Don't you think you are a bit overly protective of me right now Boss!!!" Alex look at her and says,
"You think?"
"Yap...and it kind of let me see what the word for it WEIRD!!!"
"Don't you like it when I give you more attention than others?"
"Like it...like hell no....people might think that you might fall for me your maid!!" said Maria. Alex smirk and says,
"Why not!!! Why can't I like you! You should be falling for me instead." Maria slowly walk back and says,
"1 you're not my type, 2 you're a jerk a prick and also picky eater and 3 you are not that handsome. Sorry boss!!!" while Maria walk back to the car leaving Alex after she hurt him with her words.
On the way back home, Alex did not say thing to Maria as he was angry at her for saying that he was not that handsome. He even asked Alice to seat beside him instead of Maria.
