Especially My Maid!!!!

Chapter 23

Elizabeth knocks on the door of Alex house. She had waited for Maria to leave the house so that she could find out more about Maria. Alice opens the door and was shock to see Elizabeth. She did not know her well but she knew from Bruno a bit about her and Mr. MacLaine past.

"Are you looking for Mr. MacLaine?" said Alice.

"Is he in?"

"At this time no, he would still be in the office. Would you want to come back later?"

"Let me in I wait for him inside." said Elizabeth while she push herself inside and Alice was unable to stop her. She straight went to the living room and sat down. Alice follows her and says

"Why don't I call Mr. MacLaine!"

"No you don't have too. He might be busy I'll just wait for him."

"Alright."

"Get me a pot of tea while I wait!" order Elizabeth. Alice looks at her and was unhappy that she orders her around. Alice did not want to fight with her since she was already busy with cleaning the apartment. Alice walks to the kitchen and make the tea and give to her. Elizabeth pours the tea to the cup and sips it while Alice walk up to Mr MacLaine room to clean.

Once Elizabeth saw Alice had entered the room, she immediately stood up and walk to the maid room which she remembered that Alex had made one for the maid who started in his apartment. Elizabeth quietly walks in and closes the door. Once the door close she start to search for anything that can make Alex hated Maria. After searching for 20 minutes, Elizabeth found a file in the drawer together with a planner. She became suspicious and started to read the file and planner, after she read it she was shock but at the same time happy that she had something to prove. She starts to take photo of the files and planner. Once she's done. She places everything back in the drawer and walk out. Alice was still upstairs. She did not want to say anything and walk out of the apartment. Her heart is now full of happiness; soon she will have Alex back in her life while Maria will be gone out from his life.

The next day, Elizabeth stomp into Alex office while Sarah try stop her from entering without appointment. 

"I am sorry Mr MacLaine but she insists to come in." said Sarah. Alex stood up and says,

"It alright!" order Alex. Elizabeth went to Alex and wanted to kiss him but Alex move away from her leaving her standing. Elizabeth became angry but she push it away because she will have him after he found out what she know.

"What do you want Elizabeth? Did I not make myself clear the other day?" said Alex while he sat at his sofa. Elizabeth walk to him and sat beside him.

"Loud and clear, but Alex do you know her well?" Alex looks at Elizabeth and says,

"Much more than I know you." Elizabeth instantly felt an arrow had pierce through her heart but she still smile and says,

"You might be disappointed when I tell you want I found out about her."

"If you are here just so I could hear what bad thing about Maria just leave!"

"I know you will say that but you really need to do a reference check the next time you hire a maid." said Elizabeth. Alex looks at her and says,

"What do you mean?" before Elizabeth could reply, Sarah walk in with a lady who Alex knew the minutes he saw her.

"Just in time!!" said Elizabeth.

"Miss Clinton from Alive Co said that you have made an appointment with her." said Sarah. Alex was shock, as he did not make any appointment with his enemy especially Clinton or anyone from Alive.Co, Alex immediately stood up while Clinton walks closer to him.

"What is the meaning of this asking me to meet you?" said Clinton. Alex look at Elizabeth and she says,

"Miss Clinton my name is Elizabeth I called you here so that you can explain why did you hired Maria to work for Alex MacLaine?"

"Elizabeth what the hell are you talking about!" shouted Alex.

"Maria???" said Clinton clueless of whom she was referring to. Elizabeth took out a file and gives it to Alex. Alex took it and starts to read it. He was shock, his heart just stop. His mind was focusing on reading the document that Elizabeth shows him.

"No it can't be!!!" he said to himself while he looks at Clinton. Clinton look at Alex, she felt that she was a fooled to have meet him. She turns around and says,

"I don't have time to play game Mr. MacLaine!!!" Alex looks up at Clinton and says,

"Is Maria Mendez her real name Annette Julie Marson!!" Clinton suddenly stops walking.

"What!!" said Clinton to herself. She turns around and Alex gives her the file. She took it and starts to read the file. Her heart sank what should she do now? Now that they have found out about Maria real identity but do they really know who Maria is? She said to herself again.
