Especially My Maid!!!!

Chapter 7

Alex walk out of the lift and saw his father and brother was walking into the board room. As always the board room meeting happen every 3 months. He always felt that it was ridiculous that they're always having to attend board meeting when in actual fact there was nothing to talk about. Alex smile at Liam who he has not seen for months as his father had assigns him in Paris as they just open a new office and his father wanted Liam to be in charge. From the outside everyone will think that there are the loveliest brother ever but the fact both of them knew. Liam had an anger inside him that always waited to burst but he always control it. They will always fight but they never let anyone see them fighting as they wanted to make a good impression to the public.

"Welcome back Liam!" said Alex.

"Thanks." said Liam while he look back at his phone.

"Well since we are all here why not we have dinner together." suggest Mr MacLaine.

"Why not!" said Alex while Liam just nod his head.

"Where do young bachelor like both of you goes this days?" said Mr MacLaine again exciting to go out with his children.

"Um...why not have dinner at my house?" suggest Alex.

"Why are you cooking for us?" said Mr MacLaine.

"NO but my house maid is a wonderful cook, why not have her cook for us!" said Alex again.

"I fine with anything!" said Liam finally he look up and join the conversation.

"Sure why not! Why don't you give them a call so that they can prepare." said Mr MacLaine while he walk into the board room follow by Liam. Alex then quickly took out his phone and call Maria.

"Good Afternoon!!! MacLaine apartment!!" said Maria.

"Maria it me!" said Alex.

"Yes Boss!" said Maria shock to heard Alex called her."

"Tonight please prepare a feast for me. My dad and brother is coming for dinner!"

"Oh...alright I'll get cooking!!" who sound still piss at him for telling her not to celebrate his birthday.

"Make sure it's delicious! Don't embarrass me, I told them you make good food!!"

"I will not." said Maria.

"Good!!!" said Alex while he disconnect the call. He still could not believe that Maria still not talking to him ever since a week ago when he told her about his birthday. He did try his best to be nice to her but still she's mad. He shake his head and walk to the board room and start the boring board meeting.

Maria and Alice start to set the table for tonight. Boss called and said that his dad and his brothers is coming to have dinner with him. After they have set the table, they start to prepare the food. About 7pm Boss came out from the room with his new suit which Maria has to pick up on his behalf. He walks to the kitchen and saw them preparing the food.

"How the dinner preparation going?" said Boss.

"Everything is going fine. All the dinner is going to serve soon once they arrive." Said Alice. Maria did not say but continue to help Alice. Alex look at Maria and was waiting for her to talk to him. Suddenly the bell ring.

"They are here. I'll get the door.' Said Maria. She wipe her hand and walk out. Alex look at her walk away. He blurs. He really want her to respond to him but she still does not want too and that make his heart felt disappointed which he never want from anyone else except Maria his maid. Alex push his feeling away, went to the dining area and welcomes his father and brother.

It has been an hour that the dinner has started. Boss did not want Maria or Alice to serve has there was something important to discuss about the company. Maria was sitting closer to the door so that she can hear what they were talking. They have been working here for nearly 2 months and she cannot find any clue.

"What are you doing?" said Alice.

"Oh nothing...eavesdropping!!!" said Maria.

"That very bad behavior." Said Alice while walking towards her.

"But...I like. What are they talking about?" said Alice while trying to hear them talking too.

"Nothing...I can't hear anything." Said Maria. While they were trying to eavesdropping suddenly they heard a loud bang coming from the dining area. Maria and Alice look at each other and quickly run out. When they were there they saw Boss was holding his younger brother Liam collar. The rest were trying to stop them from fighting.

"Boss!!!" said Maria. Boss look at Maria through the mirror. Maria was looking worry. He wanted to let go of his hand but then Mr. Liam say angrily,

"Mum left because of you!!!" When he heard that Alex became more angrily and wanted to punch Liam but suddenly Maria manage to hold his arm. Boss looks at Maria and says,

"Let go....Let go now!!!"

"Boss...don't" beg Maria. Alex became more angry that she did not listen to him and push her away till Maria fall down.

Maria fell down and hit the chair. Alex look at Maria was stun to see how violent he was. Alice went to Maria and help her.

"Liam let's go. I talk to you again Alex" said Mr. MacLaine pulling Liam away from Alex. Alex stood there looking at Maria. Liam did not want to go and wanted to continue to fight with Alex but Alex he could not hear anything other than Maria voice saying that she is fine. Mr. MacLaine and Liam went out of the house, silence enters the house. Maria went to Alex and says,

"Boss...are you alright? Boss!" Alex regains himself, he did not say anything and walk straight up into the room. Maria and Alice look at each other speechless.
