Chapter 14

Right after Alex had talk to Liam he wanted to see Maria but when he got to the VIP room they were all nowhere to be seen. He look around the club but he could not see them when suddenly he heard a huge commotion inside the casino area. He walk in and saw that everyone was surrounding a table. He walk to the table and saw his father was playing black jack and Maria was beside him.

"Oh Dad..." said Alex while he make his way there. Once he reach Maria, he says,

"What happen here?"

"You dad drag me to the casino, after he won the second round at the horse race he pull me into the casino and making me his lady luck." said Maria she was half happy and half uncomfortable that Mr MacLaine pull her and make her his lady luck.

"Your maid is one of a kind I have beaten everyone here and I won alot." said Mr MacLaine to Alex. Alex look at the rest of the player and saw how happy there were when they have lose a lot of money.

"How much did you won?" said Alex.

" 2 million and counting." said Mr MacLaine. Alice and Bruno was happy too has they too won a bit thank to Maria.

"If I know that I will win I would have bring you my side of the town to play." said Bruno. Maria look at Alex, right away he took her hand and says,

"Dad I'm taking her now!!!" while he pull her out of there. Maria look at her hand that Alex was holding it tight. She never felt it before, she could feel her heart was beating very fast and she could not get her eyes from him. She suddenly regain himself,

"No you can't do this. You need him for something else." she said to herself. Maria stop walking making Alex stop. He turn around and look at her. Maria then pull her hand away.

"Sorry." said Alex.

"It's fine. Thank you for saving me inside. It was getting very uncomfortable." said Maria. Both of them start to walk side to side.

"I talk to Liam and did what you said." said.

"So what he said?"

"He hate me and now I know he hate me to the core." said Alex.

"I'm sorry."

"No...at least I know and I told him that I will slowly make him forgive me and I will wait."

"Really you would wait for him?"

"Yap...he is my brother and I want him to be part of my live again."

"Good for you. How does it feel now?"

"Better... better then before." said Alex while he look at her smiling at her with so much relieve that he made her.

"Good....now I need to see my horse and you need to teach me how to ride it."

"Alright I teach you how to ride but you have to pay me!"

"I have already paid."

"You did not!"

"I did with my advice which it work."

"That does not count..." said Alex while both of them argue with each other while they walk to her horse.

After 3 hours of teaching Maria how to ride a horse finally they stop and after cleaning the horse they got really tired that they sat down on the grass looking at each other tired face and laugh. It has been forever that Alex did not have enjoy another person company.

"Alex....Alexander." they heard. Alex stop and slowly look up. He know who that voice belong, that voice that once upon a time make him fall in love for the first time and broken my heart for the first time. Maria look up and saw a beautiful woman who she knew she saw he some where before.

"Alex how are you?" said Elizabeth. Alex and Maria stood up.

"Elizabeth what are you doing here?" said Alex coldly.

"I have a photo shoot here." said Elizabeth. Maria notice that Alex became tense when he saw Elizabeth.

"Boss I am tired I head out to the suite first." said Maria.

"I'll go with you.'" said Alex but then Elizabeth stop him and says,

"Alex...please don't leave!!!" Maria look at Alex who did not want to look at Elizabeth.

"Boss I'll go first." said Maria while she start to run away. Alex look at her and curse her for leaving him behind.

"She's strange who's that?" said Elizabeth.

"She's not strange, what do you want?" said Alex.

"How are you?"

"If you going to ask me that then I'll leave.' said Alex but Elizabeth stop him again and says,

" Alex....I'm sorry to have left you like that but it was a chance that I have to take."

"I don't care Eli....you took a chance but took an opportunity too. You slept with him after you left me. I would still have forgive you for leaving to catch your dream but to sleep with him to secure that position that low. I forgive you so stay away from me Elizabeth." said Alex while he walk away, leaving Elizabeth.
