Right after Elizabeth talk to Alex which Alex turn her down badly, she went and look for Maria who was at the kitchen preparing for the food. When she got in, she saw Maria was alone. She hated Maria for making Alex being so caring and loving at Maria. She walks around the kitchen to see what she can use to get back to Maria when she saw some broken glasses in the bin. She look at Maria who was busy topping up the food, Elizabeth slowly use a plastic place, scoop up the broken glasses and place it quietly on the floor so that Maria would step on it. Once she did that she went out quietly.
Alex walks into the kitchen where he assign Maria to be instead of serving the guest as he did not want her to walk for a very long time as she has not recover from her sprain.
"Busy?" said Alex. Maria looks at him and smile.
"Nope... not that much. Do you need anything?" said Maria.
"Have you eaten?"
"Yes I did. Did you eat anything?" said Maria.
'Nope...You know I am a picky eater and it seem the chef is not as good as you." Alex compliments Maria. Maria then took a plate and put some fried chicken out from the micro wave and gives it to him.
"I made it from home." said Maria.
"You did!!" said Alex surprise.
"I have guess that you would not eat and as your father said you are a picky eater." said Maria while she continued to do her work. Alex did not bother of what she had said, and devour the chicken that she did for him. While he was eating he saw red liquid on the floor. He remembers what he saw in his room a week before. Alex walks closer to Maria and saw the floor was full with Maria blood.
"MARIA!!" said Alex loudly. Maria stops and looks at her crazy boss.
"Fuck Maria." He said while he immediately carry her and bring her up. When Alex carry her, she saw a paddle of blood on the floor as she was using a thin slipper, it seem that glass had cut her and she did notice blood was flooding out from her sole. She turn to Alex who was carrying her, her tears start to fall out from her eyes. She could not feel herself and now she bleeding and she did not even know it. Alex brings her up to one of the guest room, put her down on the bed and run out of get the first aid. Alice who saw Alex who carrying Maria she put everything down and run up to Maria.
"Are you alright what happen!!" said Alice.
"I cut myself." said Maria while show her feet to Alice. When Alice saw her feet, she was shock as Maria slipper was full with blood. Alice then took out the slipper and saw bit and pieces of glass had gone through her sole. Alex went in with a first aid box but when he look at Maria feet he froze. He did not know what to do.
"Alex Dr. Daniel is here." said Liam who brought a doctor.
"What is the problem?' said Dr. Daniel.
"Can you please look at this Doctor." said Alex. Dr. Daniel went and looks at Maria feet and says,
"Can someone get me a pile of water and some towels?" Alice volunteer and runs out of the room. Alex walk back to Maria and sat beside her who was controlling her tears.
"Did you feel the pain?" said Alex.
"No!!!"
"Then why are you crying?"
"It just did!!" said Maria. Alex looks at her and holds her hand tightly. Alice run back into the room and gives it to the doctor. The doctor than start to treat the wound, Alex then push Maria to his chest so that she did not see the doctor taking the glasses out from her sole. Liam who was standing at the door, look at his brother he knew that Alex had fallen for his maid.
After the doctor treated her wound, the doctor had prescribes her some medicine before he went back to the party. Alex escorts him out while Alice went back down to pack her things. Liam look at Maria who was unable to move as the doctor had bandage her feet. He walks towards her and says,
"Are you alright?" Maria look at him and says,
"Yes. Thank you for calling the doctor."
"When did you start to become his maid?"
"2 months ago the agency called and said that Mr. MacLaine needs a house maid."
"I am being frank with you about something, The MacLaine is a wealthy family and we are one of the billionaire in the world, if you are thinking about making him fall in love with you and decided to take his money away from him forgets about it. Because if I got to found out you did that to him, I will make your life a living hell." Warn Liam. Maria looks at him and look down. Liam then wanted to walk out when Maria says,
"If I want to do that I should just seduce your dad not Alex. Your dad is more easy bait then him or you so to say. I'm not interested with you, or Alex or anyone money. I here to work and that all, if you don't want to believe me it alright I don't force you. It actual show to me that you actual care about your brother and hating him is just something you want to show to him. Deep down you want him to be there for you Mr. Liam. You can lie all you want but in the end you are not a person who hate." said Maria. Liam became angry not because she said that but to know how he actual feel about Alex. He turns around and wanted to scold her back when Alex walks in with Alice. They walk into the room and felt a tense feeling. Alex looks at Liam and says,
"Is everything alright here?" Liam did not say anything and walk away. Alex say beside Maria and says,
"Did he say anything to you?" Maria smile and shake her head. Alex turn to Alice and says,
"Did you get everything?"
"Yes...Bruno is waiting for us at the front." said Alice.
"Alright then." said Alex while he carries Maria up. Maria looks at him and says,
"You can put me down, I can walk down stair. I'm really heavy you know?"
"You are and the more talking you do the more heavier you are." said Alex while they walk out of the room. When they got down everyone look at him. They felt strange that Alex was actually very close to his house maid and some started a rumor about the house maid seducing him. When they got out, Bruno open the door and Alex out Maria in and close the door back. They went back into the car and Bruno drive off. Elizabeth who saw Alex carry Maria became more furious that her plan actually fails. She curse Maria and swear that she will make her life miserable.
