21. Keeping It Undercover

Courtney's POV

One week later:

Shayne and I haven't told anyone about our relationship. Although they are suspecting that we are together. Sometimes, Shayne and I will show some flirtatious behavior like calling each other "babe" or "honey", leaving them guessing what our relationship is.

Of course, we both talked about when we're going to tell the others and the fans. We decided that when we feel like telling them, we will. We just don't know when that is.

"Hey Courtney!" Ian called me.

"Oh. Hi Ian! How are you?" I gave him a hug.

"I'm fine. I guess... You seem really..." Ian didn't really know what to say.

"Really​?" I was getting worried.

"Really happy and relax lately. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, it's just you have not been you know?"

"Know what?"

"The thing with you and Shayne..."

"Oh. that! Well um..." I couldn't speak properly. I didn't know if I should tell him or not.

Should I tell him? What if he tell the others?

"Can you keep a secret?" I finally found my way of speaking again. He looked worried and confused at the same time. He nodded his head and crossed his arms.

"Well um... Shayne and I have been dating for a week now." I whispered to him. His eyes were wide open and he covered his mouth due to the shocking news.

"Really? Wow! Finally you two told each other! I'm happy for you Court!" he pulled me into a hug.

"Thanks, but can you keep it a secret? I'm not really suppose to tell anyone." I pleaded him after we pulled away.

"Of course. No problem! See you later in the shoot!" he said before going to his office.

"See ya!" I was relieved to tell someone my relationship with Shayne.

I went back to the squad office and noticed that Shayne was the only one in there.

"Where are all the others?" I asked as I was going to my desk.

"They just left to film The Show With No Name." he replied while looking at his phone. I took my laptop and sat next to him on the couch.

I started working, making a new script for a potential new video. He locked his phone and put his arm around my shoulder. I stopped writing and shut my laptop closed. I rested my head on his chest, wrapping my arms around his torso.

"What's wrong babe?" he looked at me.

"Is it okay that I told Ian about us? I'm really sorry but I couldn't handle it anymore." I looked at the floor and I was about to cry. I didn't know how he would react.

"Babe, it's okay to me. I think it's time that we tell them. I don't want to put you on a pressure." he smiled at me and kissed my forehead.

"Thanks hon!" I hugged him and put my head on his shoulder.

"So when should we tell them?" Shayne asked.

"Maybe today, during lunch. We're all going to be together anyway." I suggested.

"Sure. We'll tell them." he grabbed my hand and held it.

We stayed in that position until it was time to go for lunch. We went to the meeting room, where the food is and everyone is already there. I looked at Shayne and he looked at me and nodded at me.

"Hey, um... guys. I..." I started but I was too nervous to continue.

"...we have something to tell you." Shayne continued. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at both of us. I saw that Ian was sitting down and he smirked at me. I smiled in return.

"So. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. Courtney and I have been dating for a week now!" he announced with a huge smile on his face. He pulled me and kissed me. I grinned at him and hugged him. I heard people gasped and awed at us.

"CALLED IT!" Keith shouted in the room.

"And thanks Ian, for not telling them." I directly said to him.

"Wait! What? You knew?" Joven asked him. They were all shocked.

"Well, he only found out today as well before we told you guys." I quickly defended Ian.

"Well, to be honest with you two, we were already guessing that you're dating because you guys stop asking us for advice." Mari stated, while everyone were agreeing.

"We're sorry that we didn't tell you guys immediately. We just wanted to have some privacy. That's all." Shayne apologized to them.

"No need to apologize. So, are you two going to tell the fans?" Flitz coming to us for a hug.

"We figured that because we are always so close and do things together for most of the time, they might figure it out themselves." I replied after our group hug. "We'll announce it when the time is right."

"Alright, enough with the whole announcement. Let's eat!" Lassercorn said. We couldn't agree more.

"I'm glad that we told them!" Shayne commented.

"Me too!"
