y/n's mom pov
as I was cooking dinner I got a text from y/n asking if butch could stay the night.
"who's butch?" I thought aloud while thinking she got friends so quickly. i texted her saying it was okay but they have to be home within 20 minutes.
y/n pov
"um wanna start heading to my place?" I asked, it was a 2 minute walk, not long but I lose track of time skating.
he looked down at me, gosh either he is a giant or i'm a short cherry tomato . . . or both. "sure, at least you kept your promise and didn't get knocked out this time." he said chuckling.
"HEY!" I yelled back in a fake angry way. "i'll race you to my place!" I challenged and set my board down.
"you're on, potato." he said getting on his board.
butch won by a FOOT I was so mad. I can't believe it, I was so close. "you're just lucky." I said.
"yeah yeah. thanks for inviting me to spend the night." he said smiling. as we head inside i saw mom cooking dinner and i told her we're back.
she turned around and smiled as she saw me and butch. "alright sweetie you and your friend can go to your room and hang out while i finish dinner. i'll call you down when dinner is ready." she said as we started heading upstairs. i groaned seeing as she still called my sweetie.
"so what do you want to do?" I asked once we got to my room.
"i don't know, what do you want to do?"
this is gonna take forever to choose something if we continue this conversation. great. "um how about we play a video game. i have portal." i suggested. he nodded and we started to play. i won twice and he won once. suddenly my mom called from downstairs telling us to come down for dinner.
"we will finish this later and I will win." butch said while putting his controller down and going downstairs for dinner with me.
butch pov
as we went down i was feeling happy but also agitated and i saw that dinner was something i haven't had ever. i hope it taste good but it was spaghetti.
