A week later...
Alex's eyes flew open. She looked around. Alex was baffled. Where am I? She asked herself. Alex had wires connected to her arms and was laying on a hospital bed. All sorts of technology surrounded her.
"She's awake!" Somebody called. She recognized the man; he was one of the guys who was stalking her. He was the one with longer hair. 3 people came into the room. A woman with brown hair, the other, short haired, stalker, and another guy with dirty blonde hair.
"Welcome to S.T.A.R. Labs. I'm Cisco Ramon." The guy with long hair said. "I'm Kaitlyn Snow. I'm a doctor." The brunette said.
"I'm Julian Albert." The man with blonde hair said.
"I'm Barry Allen." The other stalker said.
"Well, thank you for the introduction but I think I should go. I believe I've missed quite a bit of school. I also owe my friends an explanation." I told them.
"You only were out for a week, relax. Plus, we still need to run some tests now that you're awake." Kaitlyn argued.
"I am very grateful. Thank you for saving my life. I still want to leave, though. Thank you, again." Alex said as she tried to leave. "Not so fast," Julian said as he got in her way. "Why not?" Alex asked.
"You may be perfectly healthy, but Dr. Snow still has a lot of tests to run on you," Julian replied.
Alex sat back down. A girl can't talk to her friends and family! Alex lied back
down and drifted to sleep. Alex had the oddest feeling when she slept. It was almost in an indescribable way. She could feel something running through her veins. Power? Energy? Alex couldn't tell what it was, but she did know that it was more than just blood.
A couple hours later, Alex woke up. She sat up and looked around. Nobody's in the room. I think I'll just get out of their way and leave. Alex walked out of S.T.A.R. Labs and checked the time on her phone. 2:30, no time to lose. Mary will most likely be at Jitters, so I'll go there first. I think I owe her a huge explanation.
When Alex got there, Mary was the first thing she saw. Mary ran up to Alex and hugged. "You're such a baby!" Alex told Mary. "Says the girl who was in a coma for a week after being struck by lightning," Mary countered. "Whatever," Alex said.
"Are you healthy?" Mary asked.
"According to the somebody who the doctor talked to, yes," Alex answered.
"What is being struck by lightning like? Do you have super speed like the Flash now?" Mary questioned.
Alex laughed. "It's painful, and no, I don't have super speed," She responded to Mary.
