Streak Chasing Fire

5-year old Alexis Lauren Faulkner was playing a game of Monopoly on this rainy Friday night. "Daddy, look! I landed on Free Parking!" The little girl said happily. "That's wonderful! I'll give you the money and then it's my turn." Her dad replied. "Okay! I love you Daddy!" The little girl remarked. "I love you to, my baby girl." Alex's dad told her. Soon, Alex began to whimper, "D-Daddy, why is the d-door turning black?" She whimpered. "Honey, we need to go! Somebody is burning down the door!" He shouted. The two began to run out of the house. The person trying to break in had made it in and had caught up with them. The man had grabbed her father. Alex turned around,"Dad!" She screamed. Fire was coming from the mans fingertips and he had burned her father all over his body. "Alexis, my beautiful baby girl, I promise you will have a wonderful future. I love you, Alexis." Her father said. "This is my revenge, Streak." The man told Alex. She whimpered and grabbed the home phone. She dialed 9-1-1. "This is 9-1-1, what's your emergency?" The woman asked. "My name is Alexis Faulkner, my father is badly hurt. A man with fire burned him!" Alex whimpered. "Okay, honey, what's your address?" The woman asked. "9101 5th Street," Alex answered. "Alexis, the police will be there in about 5 minutes." The woman told her. Alex looked at her dad's limp body and cried. She put her hand over his heart and realized it wasn't beating. Alex sobbed. "I will never forget you, daddy." She said.
