Alex had already finished her French toast. She was ready to run it out. Alex got up from her chair and bolted to the outskirts of Central City. The wind against her face made the excitement of speed more exhilarating.
The electricity in her veins had felt like it doubled. Seeing everything fly faster made her feel like she was getting a City tour. These feelings were unlike anything that she had ever felt. She loved it. Alex kept circling Central City. Seeing the city so beautifully lit up made Alex wish she could do this all night. She could see the waterfront extraordinarily illuminated. Alex stopped running at the unique sight of it. "Woah!" She said. She had never seen such a sight. Mini lanterns in flowers which were on lily pads lit up the sea blue water. Alex stood there in awe. She could watch the flowers float along the waterbed for all of her life and still think it was beautiful. After a couple of minutes, Alex saw a man in a red suit decorated in lightning bolts run towards her faster than she had ran when she made her way to the outskirts. Barry! He'll take me to S.T.A.R. Labs! Alex did the first thing she could think of, run. She ran, fast as ever, back to her house. When she got home, she locked the door, changed into pajamas, and went to bed. That was a close call. Tomorrow, Barry will probably try to take me back to S.T.A.R. Labs. Better not have another close-call.
