Alex's alarm blared with a long,"BEEP!" It kept screeching until Alex woke up and shut it off. Alex sighed. She'd have to do all the work she missed in the past week. Alex put on jeans and a blue, short-sleeved t-shirt. Alex was dreading making breakfast. She was starving but she was to lazy to make breakfast. It would take too long. Suddenly, she realized she could do this in seconds. She used her speed to make scrambled eggs as soon as the thought came to her mind. I'll consider it me testing my abilities. Alex ate her eggs and brushed her teeth. Alex slid her backpack over her shoulder. She shoved her phone into her pocket and left to catch the school bus. I can still feel the electricity running through my veins! Is it always like that? Alex got to the bus stop and waited. Soon, the bus came and picked her up. She slid into the first empty seat. In a matter of minutes, the bus had finished its route and reached the school. Alex got off and walked into the large school in front of her. Mary saw Alex and ran towards her. "Hey! Did you hear? Apparently, there was a sighting of another speedster by the waterfront last night." Mary told Alex. That's me! Is S.T.A.R. Labs telling everyone to keep a lookout for me? "I did! How did you find out?" Alex asked as they walked to class together. "The Flash announced it over the news. He viewers to keep a lookout for her and call S.T.A.R. Labs if you spot her." Mary replied. Alex let out a long sigh. Why do Barry and the team want to catch me so badly? "What's wrong?" Mary questioned. "Nothing," Alex answered Mary. Mary gave her a suspicious look. Alex looked into Mary's eyes for a couple seconds, hoping Mary didn't notice anything unusual. Mary then gave Alex confused look, and Alex walked away from her friend. I'm just trying to avoid an argument, Alex told herself. She looked over and saw Nick. He, like Mary, was giving her a suspicious glare. He clearly saw and overheard the short conversation she had with Mary. Nick was squinting at Alex. She turned away and found her locker. She took out her binder and shoved her backpack in her locker. Alex's first three periods of the day went by in a blur. After third period, Alex grabbed her lunch box from her locker and walked down to the cafeteria with Mary. "Wanna go to the football game tonight?" Mary asked Alex. "Sure," Alex replied. Best go with her, so she will suspect less. In front of the cafeteria was a table. The gym teacher, Mr. Bronk, was sitting at it. "2 tickets, please." Mary told him. "That'd be $8." Mr. B said. Mary reached into her pocket and pulled out a ten. She handed it to him. He gave her two ones and two tickets. Then, Alex and Mary walked into the cafeteria. For most of lunch, Alex was as quiet as a mouse. She didn't feel like lying to her friend about what's going on. It would just make her feel guilty. For the rest of the school day, that is all Alex thought of. The rest of the day seemed to go by just as fast as the first part. After Alex, got off the bus and walked home, she turned on the TV and switched the channel to "Keeping Up with the Flash. I might as well find out what he's been up to. "Ding Dong!" The doorbell sounded. Who could that be? Alex looked out the window and saw Barry. You know what? I'm just gonna go with him. I can't hide forever. Alex put on her leather jacket and opened the door. How does he have my address? I guess the stalker has returned. "Lets go," Alex said.
