Alex woke up with a bad feeling.
The man who killed my father is still out there. Not knowing who he was seemed better. Alex was ready in twenty minutes. She walked out and waited for the bus. When it came, Alex got on and noticed something. Angelina is depressed. I wonder why. One thing did go unnoticed. Angelina looked cheerful. Nothing remarkable happened at school until period 3, social studies. "Alex, you won't believe this," Jason, who was sitting next to her, whispered. "What?" Alex asked, curious of what Jason had to say. Jason had blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing an Under Armor hoodie and Nike shorts. Both were blue and white. "Nick has a crush on..." Jason said. As he finished the word "on", Nick covered his mouth. Who? Jason pulled Nick's hand down. "...a superhero named Streak." Alex gasped. I know her too well. Nick, who was sitting, next to Jason. Nick was blushing. He looked like a tomato. Well, his face did. Nick was staring at the silver ring on my finger. "Why are you wearing a ring?" He asked, suspiciously. "Oh, look Ella is pointing at you." Alex replied. She was lying. Nick looked over then squinted at Alex.
The rest of the day Alex was inordinately optimistic. The only thing running through her mind was that Nick had a crush. A crush on her. She had found a name for the crush. She called it his "super crush". If anyone asked why she was smiling, she would just say, "oh, I'm just enjoying my day today". Most people would stare at her, puzzled. She didn't mind. Has long as she could think about Nick's crush, nothing bothered her. Not even when Tom called called her ugly. This normally made Alex mad, but today she could just happily ignore him.
Her life finally seemed to be going great for the first time. All thanks went to the super crush.
